Food amazing Staff very polite and well mannered Nice clean pub

Been a couple of times with our relatives & they insisted on visiting RM again , Food was excellent hot & tasty the fish was pure white & excellent value that goes for all 4 of us , Yes we & also relatives will no doubt come again when they are next over here, Although we will come back with our 2 tiny Chihuahuas who love all fuss & attention they get watching the little kids running about enjoying themselves in the beer garden,

I took my partner for an anniversary lunch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and the pub is kept very clean. My only criticism was how expensive the drinks were. I am not to fussed as it was a one off treat

Lovely afternoon! Waitress was polite and timely. Food was hot and tasty. Good selection of gins too!! Would definitely recommend for a hearty lunch with friends. Well done.

Myself and my husband have been for a number of meals and we always enjoy our visits. The food is gorgeous and generous portions. You can tell the chef cares about the food they are making. The manager Adele is so welcoming and friendly and engages with the customers which makes for exceptional customer service. The atmosphere is relaxed and the tables are clean. Although we don’t have a dog ourselves, we love the fact that it is dog friendly with the dogs even having their own menu. We highly recommend The Rising Moon. It is situated in beautiful countryside surroundings yet does not feel in the middle of nowhere and is easily accessible.

We went with friends, the food was lovely, big portions and it was hot. The menu is very good, something for everyone I would say and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are brilliant and can’t do enough for you, I’d highly recommend.

Our first time here at The Rising Moon and I've got to say we were really looking forward to it however the service was very slow over an hour for our food and the place was half empty, so god knows what the service is like when it's busy. That being said the food was spot on. Maybe we will give it another try.

Absolutely fantastic food..booking no problem ..service excellent

Food usually very nice but went for Sunday lunch 7th July 2025 and they had run out of vegetables, other meals ordered were missing items too, had to ask several times and they still didn't arrive, the staff were busy and not very attentive to customers needs, not sure I will be booking again.

We had two lovely meals here this week, great portions, very fresh and hot. We will be booking again. We had great service, a nice table and the price was really reasonable. The pub was very busy which gave a good atmosphere.

Had a nice meal, but not sure about the dogs who were in the eating area barking and jumping on furniture. Sorry.
