The White Swan – SevenoaksUnprepossessing venue but the food and wine was fabulous! Smoked salmon roulade followed by roasted sea bass finished off with blueberry cheesecake - all delicious and at £25 a head, very good value. Even the vegetarian amongst us was happy! Highly recommended!
The Allotment – DoverThe best i have used for a long time, if you like good food with good service this is the one for you
India Royal – FavershamIf any restaurant in this town should be recommended it is certainly the spice lounge as it is renowned for good food and excellent service it blows the other 3 Indians in the town out of the water, we were regulars of another Indian, but a friend recommended this restaurant, so we payed it a visit and haven't looked back, we would like to thank all at the restaurant for such enjoyable visit, we will certainly be in to see you all soon.
Spice Lounge – FavershamTHE FOOD IS GREAT,YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A TABLE BUT THE CLEANING STANDARDS E.G.TOILETS ARE NOT UP TO SCRATCH"!!
Toby Carvery Isle Of Thanet – RamsgateI dine quite regularly in this restaurant and have not once been let down, not only is the interior impeccable and the service 5 stars, and there is no way to describe how good the food is, as i wouldn't be able to give it the justice it deserves about how good it is i give it 5 stars all round. The owners have done a small town proud by bringing such a different experience to the town, i really could write all day about the restaurant but at no point could i get the point across i give it 5 stars all around
Spice Lounge – FavershamI can across this place a while ago now with a friend of mine. We generally frequent this place on Sunday's and have never had other than good food & pleasant atmosphere, except when they had run out of food one week - so give Caroline a call before going if you are travelling any distance. I travel from Sittingbourne most weekends...
Angelo’s Restaurant Hare and Hounds – CanterburyMost enjoyable place - good interesting food and friendly service. Good for takeaways or to eat in, in which case there's a good relaxed atmosphere.
The Raj Mahal – DoverUnfortunately my birthday meal (at the end of a hard working day) ended in disaster when the starter wasn't served and my main course arrived without the bread which was mentioned on the starter board (the waitress argued with me despite the evidence). The bread portion when it arrived was meagre, although the bean and sausage casserole I ordered tasted quite nice and my husband's Calzone pizza was good. Won't go there again unless they improve their service.
ASK – BroadstairsIt's rare I'd give full rating to a restaurant - so let me briefly explain why I have. It's not because The Hollywood Bowl offers the most carefully presented dishes you'll ever see or are it’s breaking any boundaries, as this isn't the case. But it does deliver what it promises - and depending on your menu choice, exceeds them. If friendly service and generous portions of great tasting food is what you're after and you don’t want to pay the earth for it then you can't go wrong here. It doesn't pretend to be anything it's not, and for that reason I do not see why anyone would be disappointed.
The Hollywood Bowl – GillinghamFood fine, but not exceptional and as such definitely overpriced. Veggie banquet for 2 with 2 glasses of wine came to £75, about £20 more than it really should have been.
Pad Thai Restaurant – Mallingi think it was really nice to eat and dine in. The food tasted nice and i would definitely go there again. i would recommend it to everyone :)
The Raj Mahal – Doverthis brasserie is modern British food and a real pleasure to dine in such tasteful surroundings, the food was just superb
Mullins Brasserie – MargateThis place is to be highly recommended from my experience. All bases are covered including food and wine, service and style. The atmosphere has a nice degree of decorum - special in fact. The staff range from professional, friendly to quirky, and that's a good range for me. We had a wonderful meal. The only thing that didn't work were the 'violet' potatoes. Blue food is probably only best reserved for blueberries, besides, it did nothing for the potatoes. And I think there are much better coffees to be found. Oh and nice hotel, just wish they would utilise the magnificent open fires to add the finishing touches it is crying out for! I know open fires can be a hassle, but people expect the effort and do appreciate it. I hope its not another Health & Safety reg that is putting them off using them. And cost will not do as an excuse. But apart from these three weak points, a wonderful experience.
Abode Canterbury – CanterburySimply the best in the area.
Karma – Chathamplease avoid, staff dam right rude .. food was sent cold . was not aloud to bring my disabled wheelchair into the garden . how could this be , ?
The Kings Head – SittingbourneLove the Pippin and go at least once a month. the food, wine and service is outstanding and what is better the visit won't break the bank! If you go try the burger it is divine and for those veggies try the risotto.
The Pippin – Maidstonejolly spiffing
Beeches Restaurant – Maidstone
