Successfully celebrated my birthday feast here yay! Hassle is the busy period but book before you arrive .

One of my favourite places to eat all year round! The food is amazing, staff are lovely and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Would highly recommend for any occasion. The garden area in the summer is beautiful and the beer festivals are well worth a visit!

My wife and I booked at table in the main bar area of the Pub, for a meal on Valentines Day. Excellent Food and Service thank you. We will definitely come again!

Such a lovely pub and restaurant as we remembered from our last visit, staff were really helpful and friendly, makes such a change to go to a pub and be welcomed.

We're moving out of the area so I wanted to squeeze in a last visit to Heathfields. It's one of our favourite brunch spots - love the vibe and the food. The baked goods always are amazing and so tempting (I'm gluten intolerant so definitely shouldn't have them!). Staff are friendly and accommodating. My only slight complaint is that it gets quite loud in there - maybe something to deaden the acoustics a bit? Also - very random, but I love the tiles in loo!

Great food as always, so much choice on the menu for breakfast and lunch. The interiors are beautiful and the staff are super friendly!

Second visit was as good as the first. Excellent choice for our Sunday brunch. The lady who served us was brilliant , she was warm & friendly. Great cuppa too. We will be back.

We went for lunch. The meals were very good ( ham , eggs and chips x2, chicken Kiev, liver and bacon) and the servings were very generous. The service was good and the staff were friendly and cheerful. It is not cheap but not really expensive for the food and service you get. We would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic atmosphere, staff are lovely very attentive and helped with my dietary requirements, made us feel very welcome, i would highly recommend here, the food came out and extremely fresh

Seven of us visited the restaurant on Saturday 6th February for lunch. Each and eyeryone of us agreed the service food etc was 1st class, and for the quality of the food very good value. It was a family get but together which we will do again in the near future. Well done Birdies you made our day extra special. Thankyou

This was a birthday lunch for my daughter and a couple of her friends. They did what teens do had fun and enjoyed stuffing their faces. What great value for money and good food

A lovely little cafe, serving breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas or simply 'coffee & cake'. Enjoy a walk across the common followed by a visit here. Always welcoming and lovely food - and coffee by which we judge all others! Don't forget to ask about the 'specials', which are always good and change regularly.
