Top class food, beautifully prepared and presented, huge portions…. No room for pudding!

Further to my review of my Tuesday meal, I can now review yesterday's meal, which was the Lamb Henry. Once again the food was fabulous, the atmosphere in the old pub was lovely and the staff were great, with particular thanks to Fred; every successful business should have a Fred.

I had the fish pie, which is absolutely crammed with fish. It is the best fish pie I have eaten since last September, when I was last in the Pheasant. Add the friendly staff to the quality and value of the food and drink and a visit to the Pheasant is a must. I've just got time for another meal on Thursday before driving home the next day.

Great food. Very generous portions. Great beer. Lovely atmosphere. Serving staff very friendly. One of a handful of eateries in Keswick we would return to regularly.

Had dinner at Pheasant Inn yesterday, friendly staff, delicious food, very generous portions with side of vegetables included, nice atmosphere, good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

My second visit here and once again I wasn’t disappointed. Definitely the best place to go for a Sunday lunch and the cheesy leaks, just wow!!

Booked early to make sure we could get in for Sunday lunch and so glad we did. Food was delicious, service fantastic, very friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous Sunday dinner. Great value, excellent quality and good portion size with plenty vegetables. Roast beef served pink with a huge Yorkshire pudding. Staff and service was excellent, especially as it was very busy.

Excellent meal. The meal was well priced and very good value for money. The food was of very good quality and good portion sizes. The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentative. They worked really well as a team. The pub had a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend this pub for a meal. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

First visit here and really enjoyed the food. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Lovely menu and reasonably priced. We did find the music a touch loud but I think that was just because our table was near the speaker. Would definitely recommend to others and will return next time we visit Keswick.

We discovered The Pheasant a few years back and love it! The staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them. Incredibly welcoming and a really nice place to eat. The beer and the food is first class, prices are very reasonable too. Dog friendly, it blows the competition out of the water. Our first choice when staying in the Northern Lake District.

Menu was varied and reasonably priced. Food we had was top notch. Service was friendly but slow. Tables are very close together, we were unfortunate to have a table next to an extremely loud group of people, it spoiled our experience somewhat as they had no regard for fellow diners

My friend and I had a delicious Sunday lunch. Both service and food were top class. Thank you and I look forward to returning very soon.
