Cosy, friendly and busy pub. Food was good and plentiful with fresh vegetables included. Service excellent as well. Good idea to book in advance.

Excellent early evening meal. Go for the traditionals, beef pie, venison or the fish pie. Vegetables very good, fresh, just cooked, red cabbage especially good. Don’t leave without trying the sticky toffee pudding

My partner and I had an excellent Sunday lunch at The Pheasant. We both had the lamb henry which came with superb seasonal vegetables and an excellent sauce. We were provided with superb and helpful service throughout and were extremely impressed. We have booked for Christmas week but will return before then. I cannot recommend The Pheasant highly enough.

Came here for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. The roast beef and chicken were brilliant and service was great. We ended our meal with the sticky toffee pudding and it was one of the best we've had! Highly recommend! Definitely worth the walk in the torrential rain!

Sunday lunch at the Pheasant was superb. This was our first visit and we both had the roast beef Sunday lunch. The food was extremely tasty and thebportion size was very generous. Well cooked meat with plenty of additional veg and the yorkshire pudding was half the size of the plate. We even had a side portion of cheesy leeks thrown in with the meal. The staff were so polite and ensured everything was ok with the food. Such a warm welcoming and we felt very comfortable as we were not rushed even though they were very busy.

we had dinner at the Pheasant last Saturday. Our reservation was honoured at the appointed time at a table in the main dining room as requested. It has a cosy but lively atmosphere. Service was excellent: staff quickly took our orders for drinks and food. The menu and drinks list are extensive. My three course meal was superb and I think that the rest of party thoroughly enjoyed theirs. When delivered at the end of the evening, the bill seemed quite reasonable for such an enjoyable evening.

Superb Sunday lunch Eaten hear dozens of times over the years holidaying in Keswick Had a break for 5 years and holidays in Yorkshire Dales However returned this year and the meals here are by far the best we've had anywhere Very very tasty. Good portion sizes. Lovely presented.

Ate here Saturday evening after meaning to book for a long time. It was everything we were wanting and more. The pub was bouncing with people and even with that the staff were lovely, friendly and nothing was too much of an issue. The food was stunning and you could tell it was all 100% homecooked. We will return again very soon.

Service first class didn't have to wait at all even though pub was busy ,food lovely and hot and very satisfying all in very happy will be calling again

Great Menu Traditional Pub Super Service Will Definitely return

3 of us ate here on our last night away, friendly greeting at the bar and taken through to our table which was in a cosy back room. All 3 meals were excellent, scampi, sirloin steak and lamb Henry. Portions were large. Puddings also very nice. The staff were all really friendly and efficient. Our only regret was not coming here earlier in the week. We will be back I hope, thank you
