My 1st visit in quite a while. Food was excellent, very generous portions. We visited at lunch time and though it was quiet it was still atmospheric. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend

I was looking forward to visiting after your refurbishment. I was not disappointed. The food for my friends and me was delicious. The service was as good as ever. The new decor was very nice. All in all a delightful experience.

We are frequent visitors and everything is always top class, highly recommend.

Have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed both the food and experience. On this occasion we came for Sunday lunch. I opted for the Roast Beef but unfortunately the beef was grisly and chewy, making it difficult to eat. The waitress kindly agreed to change it but the 2nd plate was not much better. Disappointing but we will be back as not experienced this previously.

We always enjoy our visits to the Lunesdale Arms. The restaurant is attractive and comfortable, the food is delicious, and service excellent. Choice of dishes was good, and value for money excellent.

Warm and welcoming for our group of 5 with 2 dogs.

Happy returning customers. Decided to book a treat on the 2nd Jan 26. We booked our table using the website, this was very easy to do. Arrived on time and weremet by the lovely smiling staff. The food was brilliant. Great sized lightly battered and lightly seasoned Fish and chips. My daughter chose the bacon chop, which was juicy and thick. All dishes we have enjoyed at the Lunesdale Arms have been extremely high quality and plenty of it. The atmosphere/decor and location is really nice. We would highly recommend everything there is to offer and we will definitely be returning. Thankyou

We had a lovely meal on New Year’s Eve .Service was excellent as was the food .we appreciated the fact we got a table at short notice.we had three courses and each course was well presented and cooked to perfection .We have been for family meals at the Lunesdale arms and we will definitely be going again in the future and would highly recommend anyone to go for a meal

Warm, welcoming and looked after my aging coeliac Mum and my dog with equal efficiency and kindness. When most other places were quiet after NYE, they where warm and busy

We visited in the afternoon of New Years Eve 2025. Booking was easy online. The menu is amazing lots of options and one of the party is gluten free and there is still so much choice. The staff are lovely and helpful (and professional when dealing with difficult customers on another table). The food arrived very quickly and was delicious.

Extremely pleasant and relaxing lunch at the Lunesdale Arms. Food, service & ambiance all to our liking. Have no hesitation in recommending.
