Kirkby Lonsdale is a historic market town located on the border between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales on the River Lune. Famous for it's Devils Bridge - a regular meeting place for motorcyclists and it's Victorian Fair held every September. There are many dining options including pubs, tearooms and hotels.
Our Ruby wedding was celebrated here on 30th November 2025. The food was amazing and the staff were very professional and attentive. Our 28 guests were all served very promptly and all commented about the exceptional quality. I would highly recommend this venue for a party of this size. Thank you very much The Lunesdale.

Food was excellent, service was excellent and good value, £138 for four mains, a kids meal, 5 desserts and three drinks. Not sure how to mark atmosphere as we were the earliest available booking and were the only ones there but it was getting busier as we left.

The food was excellent (in fact the portions were too much for us, so I brought some home) and the staff were fantastic, very friendly and very helpful. They were still two-thirds full when we left after 3pm. We will definitely go back.
