First time here Saturday night food was amazing, however our table was booked at 19:30 and we didn’t have our starter til 8:50 so we asked for our mains could be takeaway as we were meeting friends at 9:30. Would eat again but not busy Saturday w

Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamBooked an early table as we had plans im the evening after our meal. Was told on arrival that there may be a wait on food as they were currently serving a larger table. Waited to order but the food arrived fairly soon after ordering! Was really impressed with the food and sevice all round!

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and were really accommodating about the questions and the requests we made. The mixed starter platter was fantastic, followed by excellent curries and a naan bread that was superb, it was the family size, it was huge. Lovely place, great atmosphere and brilliant food. We will be returning very soon. Excellent value for money, a really great find. Thank you Buraq!!

Buraq – KirkhamWe had a super family meal at the Buraq last Friday. The staff were very friendly and the food was just lovely. We particularly enjoyed the balti chicken tikka masala. They were so welcoming of our 16 month old too.
Buraq – KirkhamI went with a party of 6. It was early evening si it was quite quiet. We we met by a very nice lady who showed us to our table and spent some time going through the Menu and taking our order. We ordered drinks which took some time to arrive. The food also took some time to be served but when it arrived everyone enjoyed their meal and felt that they would come again. The only negative to the evening was the length of time it took to get drinks, the food and finally to clear the table. There did not appear to be many staff and those that were there were clearly running round trying to keep things moving. Overall I am sure they were short staffed possibly due to all the additional costs. Overall we would happily go back as the meals were very good.

The Kingfisher – KirkhamSo welcoming and attentive. Really helpful in describing the menu items to help us choose. The Brisket was superb, succulent, smokey and tender. Chicken was also delicious and sauces, barbecue and alabama white really tasty. Our daughter and friend shared a huge platter with sausage, ribs, sliders and other items. Couldn't fault anything. The quality of product and smoking technique shone through. Portions are on the generous side...they readily packed up what we couldnt finish for our next day lunch! They regularly checked to see if we needed anything. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Perhaps they need more decor in western style and lounder music to truly pull off the texas Loiusiana smokehouse feel, but they are on the way! We must have gone past loads of time, but so very glad we stopped this time. We'll certainly go again.

Buraq – KirkhamOur last two visit’s both on Sundays have been of slight disappointment. Food and staff are excellent, however service on both occasions have been very slow and have had to prompt the ordering. Will not stop us returning.
