Food always good,service very efficient & friendly

The food was lovely with great portion sizes. The service was really slow that was the only things that let it down. But I suppose you can’t help it.

Seems to have gone off a bit. Visited Sunday 25th August 2025. Not aure if there has been a change in chef or management, but food wasn't quite as good as previous visits and portions seem to have shrunk. Won't put me off trying again though

Cracking food, locally sourced, not a microwaved chain pub. Price very reasonable.

Excellent food and service as always. Amazing value for money. We regularly introduce friends to this restaurant and they can’t believe that such good food is so reasonably priced . Popadoms are free and on the table with chutneys as you sit down. Go to this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

Nice evening meal yesterday . The specials are usually good and some of them merit promotion to the main menu. Service is always prompt and courteous.

This was our first time at The Kingfisher the service was prompt and the staff were very friendly and polite. We will return again.

We booked a meal for party of 7 on Sunday 20th August. The service was very slow & we had to ask if we could order our food. The meals were nice apart from the Sunday roast which was very disappointing. Our orders for ice cream for dessert was also very slow & the flavours were disappointing too.

Went with my granddaughter and boyfriend on Saturday 2nd August, my meal of warm goats cheese was very tasty and well presented. Service was very good and the waitresses were both pleasant and effecient. Thank you for a great evening.

Great food, service and atmosphere

Went Sat 2 Aug Wither family and were totally delighted with their meals and the seafood linguine was superb. The staff are a credit to the house. Well done.
