Arrived on time for our table, it wasn't ready so told to wait at the bar. Only people there but no staff so couldn't even have a drink whilst waiting. Its a massive building with tall ceilings and it was freezing cold. Having lived in Texas I was already prepared for it to be disappointing and so was not going to make any comparisons. I needn't have worried about it. The menu was lacklustre, with no real side dishes. Just basically meat and chips. Meat was not cooked well, 2 steaks one well over and the other well under cooked. Beef ribs tough. Coleslaw extremely bitter. Will not be returning, overpriced and an absolute insult to authentic smokehouses.

Great food. Service isn’t the fastest but worth the wait. Great portions. Would recommend

When we arrived (few minutes late due to road works) restaurant not too busy Shown to our table nice & clean asked if we wanted drinks 10 min wait after awhile they took food order After nearly an hours wait & a reminder to staff it arrived Got to say it was excellent really enjoyed our chicken Will return to try the burgers just hope service better Staff very friendly & apologetic for wait Will recomend Henry's to friends

Came on second week of opening . Place and atmosphere were good but found service was lacking. Waited 30 mins for drinks asked for an entire to be served as a starter but when starters arrived only 2 of the 3 came the extra didn’t come. That was rectified once we were able to speak to someone but it took time . I understand you can have teething problems but a lot of waiting staff were very young and inexperienced perhaps you need to employ some more experienced staff. The food was great and enjoyed it . I will be returning at some time .

Great service however not alot of mest for the price. Also beware of the chicken, we found mould on a chicken burger. Doubt we will return.

Came when the resturant first opened, it was a bit of a disaster, long wait for food etc but we have come back to try it again, as its never easy when you first open. what an improvement! Well done guys you have pulled it off, great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere

Absolutely superb. The wings (to start) were sublime and the missus' texas toast was wonderful. I had the full rack of baby ribs (which literally fell off the bone!) and the wife had a burger. The staff were efficient and very attentive so huge shout out to them! The price wasn't too bad either, 2 drinks each (wine and soft drinks), 2 starters and 2 mains, £77 We will be visiting again and soon!!!

Had a lovely meal on Friday evening. Service was attentive (we were looked after by Rebecca) and food was excellent. Will go again.

They were obviously very short staffed and the staff were struggling to manage the large number of customers waiting for drinks and food. The starter (Texas mushrooms) was very overpriced for what we received and the main course (brisket) was delicious although again, a small portion. The fries were fab and so was the Haybob beer. Food was delicious It was very busy with a big party so we got our own drinks at the bar to help, but didn't really need to as the service was good and the waitresses very attentive and kept checking everything was ok.

It was such a bad experience from start to finish , took an age for our drinks to come then what a let down when the food came !!! 4 of us not at all big eaters but when our meals came we couldn’t believe how small the portions were , I’ve had more meat on a beef sandwich ( 3 thin slices of brisket ) it was ridiculous . My auntie is such a budgie never finishes a meal , she did here !! . The service was abysmal waited 30 minutes for our drinks to come , then after our meal we ordered coffee’s only to cancel then after waiting 40 minutes . The to cap it all we had to queue at the bar to pay the bill , this is supposed to be a restaurant for gods sake . Joke of a place will definitely not be going back .

After booking a table, when we got there was told no table and to go to the bar for a drink, we eventually got seated, at a table up some steps, with no atmosphere, bit on chilly side, feeling a bit cut of from rest of pub, ordered food, but 3 times waitress came to our table with wrong food, and huffed,as if it was our fault, when we got our food it was nice, although missing something I had been looking forward from original menu, that my son had the first time we visited, the tacos, might be a while till I return, only hope the people that I recommend it to after my first visit, get better treated on Thursday

Booked a table, got there to be told there were people on our table, told to go to the bar and wait about 15 mins, eventually got seated at a table up some steps away from the main areas, bit on chilly side, and no atmosphere, tried to sit 5 at a table only suited for four, we moved a small side table over ourselves, just so we had a bit of space, ordered food, 3 times the waitress brought food to our table, that wasn’t for us, she kept on huffing, not our fault if staff can’t get it right, food was ok, when it eventually arrived, and it was ok, sons brisket wasn’t great, nachos were lovely, my steak was nice, but service needs improving

Pleasant , clean , pleasant ,prompt good tasty food and plenty of it would happily return , well worth a try

Lovely warm welcome, great service and nice food. We had the 2 burgers for £20 deal and they were both delicious

Fabulous food, best salmon dish I've had in a long time.

Absolutely amazing food great staff decent prices. Will be going back again
