Checked the menu on line before booking and was quite looking forward to gammon and chips or fish and chips. Booked on line and on arrival were given menus titled pasta Tuesday, with no other options. Two of our party had the mussels on a bed of spaghetti, the mussels which were tiny were all shell with very little contents. I had a pasta dish with was supposed to have salami in it, very little salami and pretty bland. We did have chips as an addition which were very good, but overall a very disappointing experience

Wonderful pizza party for my girls 7th birthday. Room was gorgeously decorated, out of the way of the main patrons, kids latest music on, aprons and hats was a lovely touch. Great selection on the pizzas. Great outdoor area for the kids to use whilst pizzas were cooking.

Lovely as always roasties bang on and mash very creamy and well everything and granddaughter said it was best cheese and onion pie she’s ever had and she knows what she’s talking about

A regular customer of Bread and Butter, our recent visit introduced our friends to this excellent restaurant for brunch. The service was, as always, excellent with helpful and courteous staff. The food that we chose was superb in terms of both quality and value resulting in four very happy customers! We have also experienced the same high level of service and exceptional food when having afternoon tea, tapas and Sunday lunch. A fantastic place that I have no hesitation in recommending!

My friend and I had a lovely lunch at Bread and Butter. The food was freshly made and was delicious the service was good the girls friendly and extremely efficient. We are definitely going to return perhaps to try and afternoon tea which looked very interesting!!

Top service and food as always. Very attentive and friendly staff. Always feel very welcome and well fed when leaving. Nice to see the children's menu is discounted through the summer holidays. Well worth booking in for a nice lunch or to enjoy a tasty coffee or smoothie. Big thanks to all the staff as they all do a great job!

Another incredible visit to Maxy Farm. The food never gets old or boring. Coffee is incredible and atmosphere always class. The staff are delightful and it’s just a perfect start to the weekend!

I have once been here before, it was fab. This time bought my Son who was visiting for lunch, his food was amazing and he thoroughly enjoyed it. However my food the poached eggs were cold, & it was poorly presented, so unfortunately mine wasn’t worth the money..I did not complain, as it was near closing time, so I did not give them the chance to put right. Just the fact they were cold in the 1st place was disappointing..

Such a lovely meal last Friday. The food was delicious and very reasonable (we live in Edinburgh and prices are wild!) Super chilled, the waitress was on her own as soneone was off sick and she was brilliant, she never stopped but was so friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend and will go back next time I'm back.

We absolutely love it here! The quality of the food is incredible and the service is always great. Massive bonus that they have fantastic gluten free options. So lucky to have this on our doorstep!

Second visit in a week, once for lunch then back again for breakfast. The food is amazing, tasty with generous portions. Top marks to the chef! The staff are friendly and very helpful. Certainly be visiting again. Highly recommend 5*

Unfortunately we hadn't seen each other for a long time and we had such a lot to catch up on, We took a little longer to order our meal. Thank you for your service and fantastic food
