I booked a show at The Lancaster Grand Theatre, booked a hotel for the night and decided on The Sultan for an Indian meal before the show. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food. Had something a little different to my usual and have to say it was top notch. Service was good although a mistake on the bill had to be rectified, with an apology and a reduction. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again when next in Lancaster.

The price does not reflect the quality. Just proves you don't necessarily need to spend alot to have a great steak. I'll be recommending this spot.

The Station Hotel – LancasterMy partner and myself tried out the steak night on Thursday which was excellent. The deal is choice of Ribeye or Sirloin with a bottle of wine for £40. The steak was perfectly cooked.My partner had sirloin with pepper sauce and I had the ribeye and asked for English mustard. The ribeye was so tasty which is locally sourced that I didn't need the mustard. The chips were also delicious
Ship Inn – LancasterEnjoyed an excellent lunch yesterday with a large group of friends. We were very well looked after and everyone enjoyed the food. Good value too. Quite a few of us had something from the Lite Lunch menu where there is plenty of choice and it’s great value.
