The food was amazing, but the serve was poor. We went in as a group of 5, out of our orders 2 items were missed off the order. We advised the waiter of this, it took a further 20.mins to get the missed items replaced. We had to ask 3 times for the bill, which took around 1 hour to get the bill qnd pay. Wouldn't go back too busy and not enough staff!

We really enjoyed our meal at The Lodge. The staff were really friendly, professional and attentive. The food was delicious and in my opinion was good value for money. The atmosphere too made it a really lovely experience.

We visited the Lodge on Saturday July 9th. We have eaten there several times and found the food and serve good. On this occasion we order our meal and the starters came promptly as di the bottle of wine. The starters were very good. We then continued to sip our wine and after a long wait had to aske the waitress if they had forgotten our main course. She promptly went to the kitchen and told us the meal was on it way. It arrived and the steaks we had ordered were on the wrong plate. I had ordered mine medium and my partner had order his medium rare. We did not realize this until we had both added the sauce and cut into the meat. We also did not find the steak that tasty. My blue cheese sauce did not taste that strong. It seemed more like a cream sauce. We waited so long for the meal that we ended up ordering another bottle of wine!

Booked a table for 4 on Sunday, girlie catch up. Great service, great food, clean and safe. Lovely staff, thank you. I also went last Tuesday 29/6/21, same service great food and value for money.

1st Time at the Sultan and can highly recommend, best curry I have had, the setting is lovely, a real gem of a building. Just wish I lived nearer to experience this again.

we booked a table for drinks only Saturday afternoon, The table services was very quick and the staff were really friendly, they asked regularly if we need another round ( no too much) so we didn't have to start looking around for a waiter. The view is great right on the canal side so a really nice place to sit and have a few drinks on a Saturday afternoon, we'll definitely book again if we are back in Lancaster. I would recommend booking as they were turning people away and the last time we were there it was the same

Excellent quality and service. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious. A quiet and discreet venue too, on the night we visited. No complaints at all.

Wonderful meal at the lodge. The food was beautiful, staff so kind and friendly. It’s such a shame the place wasn’t full of customers!!! We will definitely be back very soon.

I ate here with a friend on Friday 2nd July, the food was really good and the service was excellent. I had the Moules Frites and my friend had the Goats Cheese pizza, e both then had the sticky toffe pudding. Everything was served hot and was extremely tasty. Good value for money as the portions were a really good size. We will both be returning x

Lovely meal. Can recommend the chicken satay skewers as a starter - delicious. Very welcoming service from start to finish. We had a very pleasant smiling Alex waiting on us. This is my third visit since reopening but certainly not my last

We went for a catch up after a works meeting at RLI. It is the first time we had been together since before covid, so we were really looking forward to our meal. Water witch did not disappoint. The staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous. The food was very nice. Thank you
