Not your typical Spanish tapas but rather a selection of delicious small plates ideal for sharing. The plates are small so we had 3 or per person followed by a cheeseboard (1 between 2). Great service and average pricing.

I booked a restaurant meal, several months ago. I ate on “Pie Day”, and got good food. The restaurant was busy and my single table was on a main gangway, so got a stream of folk one foot from my meal. The till was three feet away, so got constant buzz from that. There were constant bumps to the table, and intrusive noise from close range. Not my idea of a relaxing evening out.

We had a lovely meal at Brooks! The 2 girls serving were excellent - accommodating without being over the top. The owner came out to speak to us as well, which was lovely, what a kind lady. The food was incredible - so tasty! Would highly recommend the sherry fruit cake and the green bean and cashew curry but all the dishes were lovely. We would definitely go back.

Had the hot seafood platter which was absolutely amazing and two people had burgers. The burgers were average and definitely had better, however it is a seafood place. The only thing that let it all down was the chips. They were not cooked properly at all and were not very tasty. Can’t fault the service.

We have wanted to try the Craven Arms for quite some time as friends suggested it. On arrival the staff were great, the atmosphere cosy but the food was a complete disappointment. We found it tasteless and very poor quality. My husband had the beef wellington and I had the stir fry, which can only be described as gloopy. We had travelled 40 minutes to the Craven passing many other eateries which would have been a better option, but hey-ho you give these places a go.
