Amazing food. Friendly, helpful staff. And did I say good food……….? Will return!

Last Sat I have taken my wife to "Lookout on the Pier" to celebrate our 25th anniversary. I made a reservation, I asked for a table near to the window. Everything was exactly as I wanted. We had Scarborough crabs salad and hot platter of sea food + a bottle of white wine. Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed that evening. Very good value for money.

The views, service and food were exceptional. Fish, chips and mushy peas were superb and the chowder served in a cob was also yumptious and filling and I only had a small portion. Value for money and well worth a visit if you can get a reservation.

We had not been to the Empress for several years, but we thought we would give it a try for lunch with a friend. So glad that we went as the food was excellent, freshly cooked to order, and the portions were huge. (Try the fish and chips!) I can definitely recommend the place and we wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Excellent meal for 8 of us. Quality food, served piping hot. Friendly staff. Will definitely revisit.

Booked for Saturday Evening meal but we were given the lunch menu. Choice I wanted wasn't available so had to choose something else. Asked for chips got mash and raw cauliflower which I left. In hindsight I should have returned meal. Probably won't return or recommend. Tables too close.

The starters were excellent, mixed kebabs , fish pakora and a pickle tray with poppadoms. I had keema mutter main and it was as good as any I've ever had at the top restaurants in Bradford. (Lived there 46 years). My missus had king prawn saag and loved it, plenty of prawns. Good value for money, we will go back again.

Amazing meal. Cooked to perfection. Great view from our window seat, watching the sun set. Will be visiting again and again. Love it.

We had an amazing dinner here. I had the crab starter, which was beautiful, and my husband really enjoyed his whitebait. We both then had the seafood chowder for our main and it was one of the nicest (and biggest!) meals we’ve eaten in a long time. The staff were very friendly, and the view over the harbour was beautiful as well. Highly recommend!

Food was exceptional, we ate from the lunchtime and evening menu over the weekend and both times it was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

What a lovely evening we had at ‘Brooks’. Everything from the setting, service, waiting staff and food was superb. Whilst staying in Ilkley we happened upon Brooks and were intrigued by the idea of Sri Lankan Tapas. We had the Brooks Sharing platter, Sri Lankan devilled beef and Pracia’s pork. Each dish was a taste explosion, unique and each one different - it would be so difficult to state our favourite. A nice touch was the owner coming to our table at the end of the evening to ask how we enjoyed our meal - it was absolutely delightful and we will be back when we are next in the area was our response.

We had a lovely time at Tabby Teas, the time just shot by, tasty coffee and fantastic cakes, friendly staff and of course the gorgeous cats. It was lovely spending time with the cats who seem very well looked after and enthusiastic to spend time with customers. Will definitely go again soon.

The food was so lovely and a great lunch time deal. It was just me and my friend and it was perfect for just a close dinner for the two of us

Great selection of food and real value for money. First time here by my wife and I and the friendly staff explained everything to us. Can't imagine anyone leaving here still feeling peckish! Thoroughly recommended.

Love the choices and the quality. Deliberately chose everything I wouldn't make myself. Peking duck just yummy, suchi all lovely. Now for some curry I think. Alicisa was very helpful.
