Absolutely fabulous local pub/restaurant serving really good food. Steaks are superb and the steak and ale pie is to die for! We stayed earlier in the year for my wife’s 80th and the rooms are brilliant and quirky. We will return!

Every time we go to Scarborough we eat here. The food is always excellent and the staff are so friendly. We have recommended it to so many people. We only live 20 miles away so any excuse for a day out in Scarborough! It is quite small and cosy so you must book or risk being disappointed. Highly recommend.

Great place, from the decor, to the staff to the food. Mmmmmmm the food. Really good well seasoned dishes. All the dishes we chose were delicious. Tiny glitch, rectified professionally and without fuss. Booked to come back in a few weeks already. So good to have this gem so nearby.

We had Sunday lunch with friends. The food was delicious - Yorkshire pudding amazing, roast potatoes very good, fresh vegetables with cauliflower cheese excellent, roast beef and roast pork plentiful and the cracking was great - highly recommend

For the first time I was disappointed with my meal here on Saturday night. 6 pieces of Calamari for £10.95 and filet steak was an end piece and not the usual steak I’ve enjoyed here before.

Amazing time for the bottomless brunch!!! Food was amazing and brilliant drinks selection! Never had to wait for a drink …. Always flowing . Would absolutely recommend this place

Had a wonderful meal here. Service was slightly quirky - a lad was obviously under training. He did not deserve the rudeness he experienced from the diners at the neighbouring table.

We all had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and really good value. The atmosphere was really warm and welcoming. Our waitress was amazing, very bubbly and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning again.

Came here on a friends recommendation and wasn't disappointed food was amazing and staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable the liver tikka was beautifully cooked and my wifes paneer tikka was the best paneer ive tasted i had the goan curry which was heavenly sweet and just hot enough without being too much the garlic naan was light and fluffy and full of garlic mmmmmmmm can throughly recommend if you like indian food thank you

The food was excellent and the service was very attentive even though, we later discovered, they were short staffed.

Excellent food and service. Very quiet but fine. Good value for money but retaining that special feel.

There were 9 of us and from making the booking to the evening itself we were looked after well. Generally in big parties you need to pre-order but that wasn't necessary and we were not kept waiting on the night. Food and service were really good. There were a few menu items that were unavailable and the wine choice was limited but all in all we had a great night.

The service was great! There were only two cats who were the most chill. The other two did not show themselves as much. The desserts were delicious! The souvenirs are also very cute and of high quality, I wanted to buy all of them if I could. I wished there were more cats though.
