The food is amazing, great atmosphere and lovely staff. It’s fantastic we’ve been back twice within a few weeks. A great place for families and celebrations! Couldn’t recommend this place enough :)

Lovely evening with great food

This unpretentious restaurant in adapted old buildings actually looked and felt quite French. However the menu was at most only half way there and no-one seemed to speak the language! Fresh dressed crab ‘from Filey’ fully lived up to expectations and the Crapeau was better than it sounds, though the ‘hole’ for the toad was very soggy and a bit rubbery. Friendly and professional young staff, the atmosphere was good, full on a mediocre July Wednesday evening, and overall a pleasant experience and good value.

Fabulous meal and service. Went with a group of friends and family from America who thought it was just fantastic. Thank you for making us all so welcome and making it a special night.

The setting and service at the Kings Arms were superb, very helpful and professional staff. The food was fabulous and we enjoyed it immensely.

Went on a Sunday evening for the all you can eat buffet, food and service was amazing , large variety to choose from and really enjoyed trying a lot of smaller dishes, well worth the money. My only criticism was as I was driving I found the soft drinks where rather expensive, although this would far from put me off from going again, wish they would put the buffet options on more nights, as we both really enjoyed this option. Would definitely recommend this.

Lovely roast, turkey and beef. Good atmosphere. Even though busy, served quickly.

As always, a superb Sunday lunch was available today. We don’t live too close but it’s so worth the travel because it’s probably the best Sunday lunch around, service and atmosphere great too. We must visit for the usual menu some time

Lovely staff with well kept and friendly cats.

We had Sunday lunch (carvery) at Tocketts Mill on Sunday 7th July. The food was excellent, very good quality and piping hot. We appreciated the organised approach to going up to the carvery for food, a very good system. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Slightly disappointed on this occasion … had to wait 50mins for our lunch & when it arrived the lasagne & the meat in the steak pie were quite dry (almost hard in parts) altho’ the cod goujons were excellent … perhaps the kitchen was overstretched on this particular day, but we had to leave without our favourite sticky toffee pudding dessert due to time constraints. Prior to his we had always had excellent food, service & atmosphere here & the setting is lovely.
