Visited twice in the last week, first was Wednesday 27th Dec, service, food was excellent, rebooked for 1st January, however this was disappointing, starters were potato skins for wife and I had the soup, skins where great but soup wasn’t so hot but didn’t complain as it was very busy, we both ordered the Turkey dinner, waited for an hour and ten minutes, then where served up a sliced Chicken breast, with veggies, mash was Luke warm, and gravy was almost none existent, again we didn’t complain as it was New Year’s Day and we only booked on New Year’s Eve and understand the problems with getting staff etc, tables were being reconfigured throughout our sitting to accommodate dinners and there families, HOWEVER, I can’t understand why we where told roasts available Turkey, beef, and pork, we should have been told only chicken available, I would not have chosen the chicken at all, there where a few customers complaining for other issues.

First time in Maxis food good portions ok service good only thing to moan about by the time we got to the end of our meal it was cold.Other restaurants give you a hotplate to keep food warm other than that it was a pleasant evening.

Love this place, food and staff amazing

Been to mistal a couple of times now for brunch with my partner and it's become a firm fave! Food is 10/10, good vegan options, really good quality coffee and very friendly staff and vibe! Right near the Chevin too if you fancy a coffee after a walk. Shout out to the staff who have had good music on when we've been in too.

I booked a table at the Snug and Chatter as my husband and I were visiting his parents who live locally and this restaurant is dog friendly. I have a very fussy father in-law who was impressed by the restaurant: the food, atmosphere, the level of the music and the service. Nothing was too much trouble and I had a lovely evening and great food. Will definitely return again, this place is a little gem.

The atmosphere felt very relaxed and the staff were nice and friendly. We were served quite quickly and the food was excellent! Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit. Thankyou!

Some of the food was nice. Took ages for our food to arrive though. The salt and pepper mushrooms were disgusting, they weren't cooked properly at all. Unfortunately some staff were very rude and also had terrible body odour. I don't think I will be returning at all. Also very very expensive

Fabulous NYE meal. Great atmosphere, really helpful but not obtrusive staff. Food as always was all totally scrumptious! Both wine and food are priced fairly. The addition of the very genuine end of evening check back, to ensure everything had been as we hoped it would be, was welcomed.

We enjoyed our New Year experience at Maxis . The staff are always so pleasant , they worked hard to make us welcome , service excellent as was the food both quality and portions. My vegetarian choice was accommodated . The atmosphere was wonderful . DJ excellent . Nothing was too much trouble . A big thank you. A wonderful glass of complimentary champagne offered . A lovely gesture . Another bonus,the wonderful dancing by staff members . A good time had by all.

Amazing meal at Maxi's, York. The food was excellent - freshly prepared and full of taste. Dim sum menu is very authentic and lots of variety. Crispy belly pork was to die for! Service was superb - very attentive waiting staff, nothing was too much trouble. Will be back soon!

Had another lovely meal at little sicily. It's has very friendly and attentive staff. It's grand to have it in Bridlington.
