Always lovely delicious authentic Italian cuisine , lovely venue and lovely attentive staff

I reserved our table online which was easy to do via the website. We were greeted when we arrived by friendly staff. The menu offered a good range and variety of meals at reasonable prices. The service was good, there were lots of staff happy to help. The only small improvements I would like to see are cotton napkins instead of paper, mints/chocolates with the bill.

Another great evening at Brooks, the team worked really hard to give us their usual terrific service, food delicious and an upbeat atmosphere.

Very much enjoyed our time at BotaFogo, the atmosphere was fantastic! Very friendly staff and the restaurant was very smart and clean. The food was amazing and we got to try so many new items, I will definitely be returning in the near future.

I find all the food delicious, but some of the portions (especially the fries) are too large! 3 friends had never been before, and they were impressed. Can the mini meals be for older people as well as youngsters? I would like soup to be on the menu, especially during the winter. The cakes are always tempting and delicious.

This place is absolutely amazing, the food is always outstanding very high standard, the portion sizes are more than enough always leave full, the owner Simon is very warm and welcoming, the setting is beautiful typical Greek with a modern edge, we have eaten here a few times and have booked the full venue for our wedding reception next year

Lovely food, we go in often and never let us down! Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and can't complain at the prices for what you get.

Maxis is amazing - The atmosphere, the lovely friendly staff and most of all THE FOOD !! My wife and I had the Special Lunch for just under £13 each. I had Veg hot and sour soup followed by beef curry with boiled rice. My wife had chicken in blackbean sauce with egg rice all followed by chinese tea. 10 out of 10 for everything and it won't be long before we go back :)

Food nice. Although maybe don't need to wrap the gyros in paper. Service slow. Took a while to get a drink. Wasn't particularly busy, so no reason to be a slow process. Found it odd that we got took a table in a room on our own, I immediately said why would you sit us in here on our own when there were several tables in the main area. She said I'd thought you like a quiet area to yourselves! As I was with my friend we weren't there for a romantic meal! We did move but the waitresses was clearly not happy. Asked for the bill + gave up in the end + went to the bar. Shame as this use to be a great place to go.

I have been there third time I love it cos gluten free is brilliant can choices I love tiny cottage very pretty look. Upstairs is ok bit cold and I don’t think not cosy . Definitely down stairs lovely warm specially winter. And also the staffs so friendly and their very well take with deaf ware… definitely we coming back again I like easy to access online to booking table. once again thank you so much

We arrived late and also one less than expected but it was not a problem. Food was really good and service was top notch. I will definitely go back

We came her to celebrate 3 family birthdays, a fact that I only mentioned in passing when I made our booking. The staff were amazing, friendly, very efficient and helpful. The selection of food as always really enjoyable and very varied. Imaging my surprise when I was told that my grandson who's birthday is was would eat for free, and that my little grand daughter was half price. Then to add to that at the end of our meal we were presented with 3 little birthday cakes, which we then took home. We were really surprised that the birthdays were not only remembered but celebrated with us. Cannot say thank you enough to the staff for a really great evening

A lovely evening meal. Gammon excellent with very tasty accoutrements and a good price. Ribeye very tasty - a bit pricey. Staff all very friendly.

We ate in the restaurant as part of a travelzoo deal, but even without the deduction, the price was good for the quality of food. We only had the main course, and chose the rib-eye steak which was cooked to perfection with a divine mushroom accompaniment, and superb chips. We were not inspired by the dessert menu, but instead had an Irish Coffee. Service was a little slow, but still within an acceptable time. A thoroughly enjoyable evening that we would happily repeat. The breakfast the following day was equally of a high standard with a huge variety on offer. It was lovely to sit in the window and watch the outside world pass by. Staff were efficient in clearing away used plates, so making room for even more! Unfortunately, the only blight on this relaxing time was the very loud conversation that the lady (deputy?) manager had with another two customers towards the end of the breakfast service. Rather than helping her excellent staff in clearing the tables, we were subjected to her very colourful and unsolicited life story, learning of her career at another high class local establishment (and gossip about customers there), her divorce from a farmer and subsequent change and downgrade in lifestyle, and her holidays to Spain . Had we lingered longer, we may even have discovered the name of her horse...
