We booked a meal at Oscars for our staff meal. From the initial inquiry, to the booking and the meal, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There were 16 members of our staff who attended the meal and everyone’s meals had been ordered correctly and the quality of food was excellent, everyone enjoyed the experience and their meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure everything was ok and that we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this restaurant to other people based on our great experience. Thank you for a fantastic meal.

We booked for a birthday meal after having been a few years back and wanting to go somewhere different! We were greeted by very friendly staff and shown to our table promptly. We did go on a Tuesday night so it was very quiet with only a couple of tables in, however this suited us as it was a chilled vibe not rushed. We ordered a jug of the sangria el toro which was delicious! We got 4 glasses each out of it which made it well worth the £21! We tried a good 50% of what was on offer for the all you can eat menu. Although they did forget about us after our first round they were very apologetic and let us order 3 each instead of 2. We could not fault the food it was all to die for! Overall we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning soon!

Went for breakfast absolutely lovely just had the regular and there was more than plenty struggled to finish but I did as was too nice to leave. Best scrambled eggs ever ! Would highly recommend.

Amazing food, everything was fresh, the homemade chips a highlight,service was first class, will return for sure to try the pizza that was unavailable on our visit

As always, you have been my 'favorite' for many years (since the opening of Leeds in fact). York continues to excel even though its a 90 mile round trip but always worth it.

First time for us. We enjoyed the flavours of the interesting tapas dishes. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We will definitely come again!

Went in for an early meal before going to the cinema and were made very welcome by the young man behind the bar. Food, menu and service were good. Lovely and warm with wood burning stove, will return.

First time at Kings Arms. Friendly check in (& check out) Great room. Booked into restaurant at 7:00 pm. It was reasonably busy, but not too bad. Food good. Have to say, service was slow. Took 30 mins for someone to take our food order. Felt ignored a little. What would have helped, is someone talking to us, acknowledging the wait and letting us know we weren’t forgotten, that’s all! It was as a little disappointing. Would return. Great breakfast, following day.

I love this place, Mark and the team are brilliant ,very welcoming and accommodating Sunday carvery was bloody lovely tender meat and proper soaked mush peas Been coming to Tocketts mill for 30 years Best around here in my opinion

Excellent food as always and such good value for money on a Sunday with the early bird menu being on all day. Never disappoints, we will definitely be back again.
