This was a Christmas dinner for a family that came together from County Durham, South Wales & Yorkshire. The food & drinks were great & met every bodies expectations.

Lovely meal, we had lots of starters and shared between four of us, they were all delicious and a good size, staff where very nice and accommodating, would definitely recommend

Really enjoyed the food staff were really attentive until after main meal. We would have had desert but gave up after 20 mins. Despite it not being busy. However beautifully decorated, clean and lovely food and good selection to suit all tastes. I’d recommend

Another perfect meal

Had a lovely evening meal whilst staying at the hotel, main course and dessert. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, couldn't fault the food or service.

My friend and I had lovely meals, I had the beef casserole and baked dumpling, it was delicious the beef was very tender, only criticism is that the dumpling could of been a bit crispier, would recommend. My friends had the quiche with salad, coleslaw and new potatoes, it too was delicious, would recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious, as was the coffee, but this was the coldest cafe I have ever been in. I will definitely go again, but not in winter!

I loved the Christmas menu offering so booked for 3. The food was excellent right down to fresh sage in the stuffing and the service as cheerful as ever. We had a lovely evening. Thoroughly recommended

Eaten here many times and never let's us down. Tried the Christmas panuozzo and it was delish as was the mojito I had to start. Staff are amazing so helpful and friendly. All 4 of us loved our meals and 2 had room for dessert which looked incredible. Thanks again all, can't recommend enough x

Ate here for the first time this week and loved it. Didn't have the all you can eat menu as wasn't hungry enough but chose from the main menu and everything was delicious and served very efficiently. Loved it and will be back

We went for our Team Xmas Meal. Despite the restaurant being very busy with lunch bookings, all the staff were attentive, helpful and polite. I asked for some of the meals to be held back as the members of our party hadn't arrived yet and it was no trouble for them at all. The food itself was lovely and well worth the money. We accidentally went over our allotted time slot and the staff, again, were great about it. Really good experience overall and would definitely come back!

We had a lovely meal with family to celebrate my son's birthday and my brothers. The staff were lovely couldn't do enough for you. As it was my son's birthday he got a free meal and also a cake to. Will definitely go vack.

We ate here whilst staying at the Kings Arms. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. My husband had the game pie / he said it was the best he’s had. I had mushroom and red pepper stroganoff/ it was delicious I would definitely recommend

As with many cream teas - too many cakes and insufficient sandwiches. Pot of tea too small but nicely refilled. I noticed that whilst we’re eating there was someone was vacuuming in the lounge. Not ideal.
