It was ok, few issues. Booked in for food and drinks they had our order down as bottomless brunch which was fine but we got questioned on that, I checked my booking I definitely booked the correct thing. Table right at front meant we just got forgotten about, did ask at one point to order food and more drinks but we’re still waiting 30 mins later, there was a lot of them asking people to move tables to accomadate groups and bookings. We were there a while granted but at no point during booking or sitting us did they tell us we had a time limit, however we got given a 20 mins warning they needed the table back, with no offer for us to move tables etc. really get the feeling it’s more about how many people can we get in and out.

My 5 friends and I went for a late lunch at Brooks. We all hadn’t been there before and didn’t quite know what to expect. The menu was varied and extensive with dishes that would appeal to many. We ordered a wide range of dishes. We had one vegan in the group who was spoilt for choice - as were the omnivores. The drinks menu was very good too and we were very tempted by the cocktails. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The service from the moment we walked through the front door was warm and friendly. All in all a perfect meal out with friends. We cannot wait to visit again

Lovely restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff. The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better, would definitely recommend it. The prices were very reasonable too

A varied menu choice , something for everyone. Amongst other dishes we particularly loved the beef curry, prawn Badum and Moratuwa chicken, all delicious, coupled with excellent service. Never disappointed when we eat here.

Great food, good atmosphere, cute little restaurant , big on service.Friendly , efficient but lack understanding of Campari standard measure ,which as a fortified wine should always be a minimum of 50 ml.Weak serving entailed paying more for a “ double” which technically & morally is wrong!Forgiven as we three enjoyed the meal so much!

Greeted by our favourite waiter, always friendly and accommodating. Really happy we booked a table for 6, it was a busy Saturday and Oscars was bustling they were even having to turn people away. Children friendly restaurant. I would definitely consider Oscars every time when we are out with the children. Food is always a happy hit. Thankyou for being accommodating everytime you see us

We had a first-class class experience at The Good Luck Club. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I will definitely be back!

great service and great food and fair prices for a good lunchtime break with colleagues or clients. Bread rolls have been slightly cold a couple of times I have visited - easy fix if you could let the kitchen know?

A very nice pub with good food and ales. We were well looked after and will certainly return.

Sunday Dinner 29/01/2023: Really great pub, smashing location, plenty of parking. Staff were super friendly and helpful, we sprung a doggy surprise on them and they still managed to get us seated straight away, perfect table next to the fire, food came pretty quickly considering how busy they were (private function on, place was packed!) and the quality was superb! They even had a box of dog biscuits on the side that went down a treat!! We'll be back for sure :)

First time I've been for a while. Not too bad. Had Gammon and Lamb. Gammon was nice but could not eat the Lamb as was too chewy. Pork crackling was soft and chewy. Not crispy. Very good selection of veg and trimmings. Yorkshire puddings were large and good. If you ask for 2 its not a problem. Maybe an off day for the Lamb, but spoilt it for me.

Saturday lunch - This was my 3rd visit since New Year. Once again we enjoyed a wonderful, leisurely meal, excellent food and great service.

Excellent food, really friendly and professional staff, would recommend this little restaurant.

Absolutely recommend the Craven Arms. The staff were fantastic and so welcoming. The food was delicious. Couldn't fault it.
