Came here for an evening meal with my friends. Overall I enjoyed it and look forward to retuning again in the future. Food is absolutely delicious! A few tips for improvement however would be- Please get rid of the timed lights in the toilets. Unfortunately I had a very unpleasant experience when I went to the toilet because the lights went out and I hadn’t finished and ended up being left in total darkness! I had to fiddle around and wave my hands about to trigger the lights to come back on! So get rid of the timer and just have normal lights put in please or ones that are on a sensor, so it knows if someone is still in the toilet before turning off. Also I felt our main courses came out too soon after our starters had been cleared and I would’ve preferred a break between the two courses rather than having them straight after each other. Anyway apart from those mishaps, the craven arms is still a fantastic pub and I would recommend it to others x

Me and my boyfriend came across this independent restaurant online and we were so pleased. It was an absolutely lovely restaurant with excellent service , amazing food and good prices. The man ( who I assumed was the owner) was particularly welcoming and friendly. We were sat down for just 5 minutes and he came over and said how sorry he was that we hadn’t got a menu yet . As a result of this we got a free drink each. It was a lovely time with great music too. Definitely will come back.

The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateHad an excellent meal here ... we were fortunate to be upstairs as the main downstairs restaurant was busy, which was ideal as it allowed for good conversation and a nice ambiance .. ( can sometimes be too noisey downstairs as there are a number of tables in a confined space) The food was thoroughly enjoyed and was matched by very good service .. attentive but not pushy ..
Sambuca Ristorante Morley – MorleyBooked in here for a team lunch, great menu selection to cater for everyone, fast service for the food and pre-ordered drinks on arrival as soon as we got there. Would recommend as a nice spot for lunch, the quality of the food was really good.
Oscars Wine Bar and Bistro – YorkBooked in for meal before going to theatre. Arrived a little early, but as always, not a problem as table was ready waiting. Service was good and efficient, food was delicious. Phone was constantly ringing, with would be diners, its great to see this little gem so busy. Would certainly book again, and we do whenever wanting a special meal out. Always recommend to others and in fact our guests booked in the night afterwards.

Craven Arms – SettleWe visited the Maypole,on sunday the 12th of march and booked it for 2pm.When we got there it was empty nobody in,only us.Couldn't understand that.Anyway we ordered our meal my hubby had pork loin on the specials board an I had steak pie they both came with potatoes mashed and new potatoes and 3 veg and gravy.The staff were very attentive.Another couple came in while we were having our meal,and they ordered something to eat as well.The food was lovely,no complaints at all.It was just very quiet in there and not much atmoshere.

Little Sicily – BridlingtonWe ate here for the first time last night and we’re already planning our next visit. The food is outstanding, one of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve eaten at. The staff are also really lovely, nothing is too much trouble. It is a little more expensive than other places but well worth it. Highly recommend!
