Great meal, friendly staff, good value, will visit again next time in UK.

We planned to go to Akbars in Eastgate and saw them on the way. We went to try and oh boy,its amazing.!! The staff were brilliant. Excellent food with quality meat. BYOB which makes it cheapest place to eat in Leeds. Kerala, we will come back soon with more people.

Having recently moved my horse to the area, the Queens quickly became my new "local" for weekend lunch. Cannot fault it, fantastic food, friendly staff and all within a beautiful village. A must try :-)

The food is good but the service is crap, The staff never smile, but they do if your Asian, and when I paid they never gave me a VAT receipt, ( I wonder why???) when I called them to see if they could give me a written one ( obviously I had my visa customer copy to prove I had eaten there but it was not a VAT receipt ) they were not interested to help one bit!!!! I have eaten there at least 5 times when running training courses, with all the delegates, and believe me the bill was not small. I expected a little help but they were dry and not interested. Its just a case of take your money with no gratitude for the British customer.

They have dropped the pensioner special so you have to pay more. Have they also dropped gluten free if so will not be going there again.

Disappointingly average food and a tad expensive.

Me and my friend come to Wetherspoons all most every week. But yesterday the 19th November we came and had a meal and I must say we were very disappointed as the food was cold the chips were hard, so we didn't eat it. The food was amazing, really fresh tasting and generous portions, went last Saturday liked it so much going this Saturday and next. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Went there for a birthday lunch on Sunday 26th October. The food was truly awful, very slow service, vegetables not cooked and would you believe that one if our party ordered breaded garlic mushrooms which arrived with some mushrooms on a piece of bread swimming in creamy sauce. I could go on but I won't. Just so sad that it was a let down as my family came from down south. Not a good advertisement for northern cuisine and won't be going again.

A nice warm service, very friendly and great food a reasonable price. Would call in again.

Can't believe how good the food was and the atmosphere on the restaurant, superb is the answer. Can't wait to eat there again.

Have now been 3 times to sit down and one as a take away. The food is superb, probably one of the best in Sheffield. On the occasion when we have gone early and they are not busy the service has been good. On the two occasions when they were busy the service was unfortunately poor. They needed someone on front of house who could be more attentive, on the ball with drinks and keeping people appraised of any delays. It is a new restaurant so I am sure this will improve in time. Fortunately the food is that good so we will keep going back.

We moved to Bridlington December 2013 andf have eaten at China City almost weekly. A thoroughly good restaurant. Good food; good service; decent prices.

Landlord is a bullying belittling man who make fun of customers he thinks he's gods gift because he runs a crap pub because of this the pub losing customers every day for that matter there is only one good helpful member of staff and that's jim i for one have stopped got in to priory inn and started using the old bottle witch isn't far away

Excellent food and nice ambience. Faultless service. I will certainly go back.
