This was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. 2 hours of sheer perfection. From the moment you step into the lounge area you are looked after like royalty. The staff are so highly trained to the Burlington standards that it is a pleasure to be served by them. Their sheer professionalism in serving you is a delight to watch. Every course is described to you in detail personally at table. The miniature (not on the menu courses are amazing) e.g vichyssoise with smoked haddock, mustard ice cream and a quails egg, that was 1 of 3. Superb wine list with Nigel's expert guidance. Yes, it is expensive but you have to experience this to believe it. The only problem is that the Burlington has set the bar so high that I feel I may not experience quality like this until I hopefully revisit next year. I am saving the pennies......sorry pounds.

Stag Hotel, The – Sheffield10 of us ate at Prashad last night - the service was fantastic and the food ... Well what can I say ?. We are not normally such a quiet bunch but once the food arrived we sat there with big grins on our faces as we tucked in to sublime veg thalis - a delicious selection of the tastiest curries, daals, roti and rice. All washed down by lovely smooth lassi. We WILL be back !! Well done Prashad !

Prashad – Bradfordthe food is spot on.I travel to bradford just for kasmir curry.The Roti is the best i have eaten and i have eat in loads of Indians.I agree with one previous comment the food is slightly better cooked for some strange reason when you sit downstairs.I still LOVE it.

Prashad – BradfordDuring a trip to York last week (from Bucks) we did a detour to Bradford specifically to have lunch at Prashad and boy, are we glad we did! At the time we didn't know it was in Ramsays Best Restaurant competition, but that accolade was totally deserved and it has to be the best Indian meal we have had to date, bar none! The service and quality of food was excellent and if you go, make sure you have the Pethis (spiced coconut and potato balls) and the special Chaat.. they were both divine. Well done Prashad and keep up the excellent work. Oh and of course, good luck in the semi final, we will be rooting for you!

We were able to stay the night although there are only 2 rooms so book well in advance if you want to plan this. Only criticism is that the service was too good - in, ordered, ate and out in little over an hour (and that was 3 courses). Would not stop me in the future though and would recommend

We waited in the restaurant waiting area whilst we collected our take out food. Lovely modern interior. The food we ordered was of the very highest quality. Lovely fresh ingredients and flavors and plenty of choice. As we are local we will use Jolsha both for the take away and the restaurant. So glad we finally have such a great restaurant on our doorstep and don't have to travel into Middlesbrough.
