The food here was actually not too bad, if a little greasy. Everything else about the experience, from the empty restaurant to the filthy toilets to the food-spattered menu to the inexperienced watering from the restaurateur to the frankly expensive food was bloody abysmal. Never again. Since this experience they've had buffets, all-you-can-eat and so on to try to attract custom and I've not seen anyone eating there for a year.

Fairly plain chain pub food. The last time I ate there I complained about the "Rosemary roasted potatoes" which were obviously deep-fried, and that is in fact the LAST time I eat there. Having said that, they do nice burgers. I wouldn't venture far off-piste though. One thing to be said is that this pub keeps good beer.

This is just Wetherspoon chain pub food, but I have to say it's fairly badly comparable to other Wetherspoon outlets. It used to be good but I had a burger there at the weekend - a GOURMET burger no less - and it came with no salad and undercooked chips. Well, what could be easier to get right than that? This place is (mid 2010) OFF my list of places I will willingly pay my hard-earned money for food. Good beer here though.

A lovely building. Very impressive. All let down by poor food. If you like mass-produced pub food you'll like this, but it's expensive. Three mains cost me over thirty pounds and my pie was almost too salty to be edible. A real shame because this is a beautiful building and a sun trap.

Initial impression, always looks empty, cannot see into restaurant from outside, very unwelcoming, hence only just ventured in since Leenas first opened & only then because my dining partner twisted my arm. Once inside, very cold look, cheap white painted walls, see through, requires a couple more coats preferably a warmer cream colour & the burgundy wall has got to go, reminded me more of a painted up damp cellar than a warm welcoming restaurant, warmer colours & some pictures hung would totally transform. The staff & the owner absolutely brilliant, really nice & friendly, attentive yet unintrusive. The food, Pickle tray spot on, very nice, Starters, again outstanding Main, nasty, early eighties chip shop curry sauce with dog meat, limp chips, rice nice but came on a side plate, naan average. Overall, will not return or recommend, real shame because the leenas team are really nice & i applaud anyone for getting of their backside & giving it a go.

excellent pizzas and big enough for anyone which is not always the case nowadays, calzone huge and very filling with everything cooked perfectly will be going again ,only issue was the noise it was loud like a works canteen ,will go during week next time

This was our 1st visit to this restaurant. Service was very good, and the food was good. It is not an extensive menu, but we enjoyed what we had. The prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are very large. We could not eat everything that we ordered.

Akmal's is always my first choice for curry. The service is great and the food is always delicious. If you have never been, you must go, it is one of the best Indian restaurants in Leeds in my opinion.

I visited Moghuls of India on North Street on Mad Mondays. The restaurant was very busy for a monday and i was very impressed with the food and the service. I was greeted by mr ahmed who explained that mad mondays was introduced to give customers an alternative to the traditional indian cuisine commonly found in indian restaurants. I loved it, the food was extremely different yet very tasty and at a price of £7.95 i think any curry lover would love it too. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be returning next monday.

visited the dutch pot on the weekend on a shopping trip from Newcastle really enjoyed my fried dumplings along with their curried goat the wife had jerk chicken and loved the taste of my fried dumplings also

If you want fine Indian cuisine at a really good price THIS is the place to go. Standard of service and quality of food is excellent (and i don't work for them) . Discount card available for £20 giving 15% of the total bill. Steer clear of the chapattis but naan breads light and fluffy. Free popadoms and pickle tray. Cannot compare tadcaster branch with garforth. Wasim always ensures a warm welcome. Friday and Saturdays extremely busy.

Well what can we say. From walking through the door to a friendly welcome, the pleasant surroundings and absolutely incredible food we were really taken aback. As a club we travel across Yorkshire sampling food (mainly curries) and this restaurant is the first to have astounded us all with the flavours and quality of the food. four dishes we asked to be modified to our requirements and each was no problem whatsoever to the staff, and was served to each persons request. The Nawabi lamb was stunning, the chicken achar exquisite. All other dishes were being held in the highest regard. So much so that this restaurant has achieved the first ever DLCC 10/10 rating on all counts. Well done to everyone at the restaurant.

What a beautiful place!! I went for a meal out with friends to the Peppered Pig and had a fantastic night! It is beautifully furnished in a lovely area. The food was all beautifully presented and served by very pleasant and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants a nice meal out. I would also recommend the homemade liquorice ice-cream...........its to die for!!
