Visited this pub 14 August and we were not disappointed, infact quite the opposite, we were pleased with our new find. Location was gorgeous, staff could not have been more pleasant and the food was excellent. Not a massive range but ample choice and all was cooked perfectly and very well presented. The pub offered comfortable surroundings and the menu offered fresh and tasty options for everyone. Good choice of wine and real ales to accompany the meal. Worth visiting again and again.

Went for dinner at the Old Swan and was really impressed. The food was great, portions massive if i had known I would have stuck to main course to leave room for pudding! Food ranged from traditional pub grub to my favorite Mussels! Really friendly atmosphere would recommend anyone to pay a visit and sample the great food!

I'm always impressed by the food at Azucar, especially the stuffed peppers and the tacos. This time I tried a dessert, a rum and raisin brownie which was also delicious. Service was also worth a mention - our waitress was friendly, solicitous and fully deserving of the tip we left. Will continue to come here regularly.

Visited your pub on wednesday 11th August ordered lunch did not arrive after ONE HOUR, informed the general manager who took my name and home number but did not get in touch. Very disappointed.

Delicious food, excellent service and delightful experience. I cannot help but write a review of our lovely time there. The place is cozy, family run and has a warm welcoming feel to it. For starters we ordered dhokla and dahi puri. The texture, taste, spices and presentation were all immaculate. For mains we ordered chole and masala dossa. Both the dishes definitely had the wow factor. We finished it off with masala chai. The waiters were courteous and helpful. The place is clean. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who would like to taste the authentic Indian meal.

The staff are lovely and the food tastes great, but prepare to spend the night awake as they use MSG in their food, which is a real shame.

bollywood cottage is in a tiny village but the food is very appetising and is set out on the plate very neatly i don't like Indian but bollywood has changed my mind

Went there last Friday night, table for 7 at 7.30pm, reserved it that morning and got the last table in the house. Good thing we did book. When we got there the pub was busy. Got a warm and friendly welcome from the landlord. There was a good selection of beers, which were all in very good condition. The menu choice was excellent and the prices reasonable. Had a bit of a wait to get served, but then the place was very busy. During that time we soaked up the atmosphere, which was warm and cosy (locals very friendly). When the food arrived it was excellent in every respect. Finally, we were served generous portions from the sweet menu, which was again excellent (although no cheese and biscuits available). All in all we had a great evening - will definitely be going back there again (especially if they have a Greek night)

Indian is our fave food and have never tasted a better curry then at akmals! Best Indian ever moved, out of Leeds now though and miss it so much! cheap and the owner is a really nice man! and its BYOB

We came across this wonderful little inn and fell in love with it. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after by the staff, the rooms were very modern and chic, the bedding was better than any 5* we have ever stayed at. The food in the evening was clearly freshly made, and very tasty, more like restaurant food. It has a very pretty beer garden and even its own car park. All in all we enjoyed immensely and will be back!

Excellent, a large party of us went yesterday 11th August 2010, and the food and service were perfect, the food was all home made and not out of the freezer, which makes a refreshing change.

Have eaten at this restaurant a number of times now, I find the staff to be excellent and the food to be amazing. I haven't ever had any complaints whilst eating there. I would easily say the best Chinese food i have ever tasted!! I would defiantly recommend the restaurant to others and have done.

Excellent pub and restaurant. good food at reasonable prices and staff are very friendly. Every time we visit they seem to have introduced more facilities to the pub outside and in. They are very family friendly and in my opinion it is the best pub in the area.

Booked a table for me, my wife and kids for our anniversary. The service was excellent. The food served was delicious, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was splendid. Would most certainly visit there again with my family. 10/10!

Royal Eastern Restaurant, great place to dine in with the live entertainment. and restaurant itself has a warm environment . Very relaxing plus the food is marvelous. Entertainment wise, I had fully enjoyed myself . Selections of music/karaoke is very wide. I will definitely go back . It's highly recommended.

the food is fantastic, we had fish cakes and calamari to start they were homemade and really fresh you could tell, then we had sirloin which they bring to to table and let you slice it off i had 12.8oz it came with homemade chips hm onion rings and all the bits so GOOD, my husband had a 1.5kilo barnsley chop with mint gravy WOW. Its a must go sample the staff are very helpful. the owner brendan is always working and will help with any questions

BEST INDIAN FOOD IN THORNE THE STAFF ARE GREAT NOTHING IS TO MUCH BOTHER. THANKS TO ROB WE HAVE HAD 2 OF THE BEST XMAS DINNERS
