Well what can i say, Zara's indian restaurant is the best by far that i have ever tried, the staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable, i use this restaurant once a week and the food is constantly very good, they also do draft beers and lager. i promise you will not be disappointed. it is the best by far in tickhill, taj cottage is not as good no were near.
Zaras Restaurant – DoncasterA fantastic pub and really friendly hosts! Definitely one of the best pubs I've been to and the food is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the Halifax/Huddersfield area!
Duke of York – HalifaxWhenever we are hungry at home and we ask ourselves "what could you just eat?" - the answer without reservation is "a Lantern steak". For 40 years on a regular basis we have ordered the same delicious meal. The chairs may not be the comfiest but the food is yummy and the value excellent. Don't ever retire Andreas - you and your lovely daughter Nicki ARE the Lantern to us and all your other regulars.

Wok 1 Cantonese Restaurants – DoncasterI have been going to Aldos for many years, its my fave restaurant! We always have birthday meals, girly nights and the romantic nights! So when i got engaged i asked if we could hold our little celebration there! Our engagement party was the best ever! They put on a fab buffet for us, use of the upstairs bar, use of nearly the whole restaurant! And the food was fantastic! Bye bye to open sandwiches! Hello meatballs!!!! Oh it was lovely!! Everyone enjoyed it! After we filled our bellies we then had a little party! There was music and plenty of room to dance! It was the best party i have ever had!! Aldo’s Pizzeria – CleckheatonI have been here loads of time and we always have had great food there.... Very good atmosphere and the pethis as simply wonderful.... We 3 people go there almost every other week and order 5-6 starters each time as we can never make up our mind on those wonderful dishes to miss any of our favorites.... Being a pure vegetarian this place is too good....

Oakleys Grill and Pizzeria – SkiptonBrilliant food. Cant fault it. Don't mistake this place for a cheap kebab house because it certainly is not. I always go for a selection of Meze for starters shared between the group with a nice helping of pita bread. Then follow it up with one of the mixed kebabs to share for the main course. Specials often very nice too but I think i found my favourite above. Reasonably priced aswell, especially with the various offers.

Blue Sky Cantonese Restaurant – BradfordWe've eaten at Beatson many times over the years. The food is quite exceptional - perhaps a little showy but never to mask a lack of taste or skill in preparation. The decor and set up is divine although i have to admit i too hate the car park. Whether its the credit crunch or maybe I'm just paranoid but i couldn't get them to bring me water to save my life - had to ask 3 times! The dining rooms are intimate and so the experience is so relaxing. I'm dying to try the private dining rooms when next we have a family celebration. But the limited space downstairs is so easily spoiled by loud diners. If you only eat one thing try rose petal ice cream - delish.
Beatson House Restaurant – BarnsleyGreat place to eat. Obviously skillful cooks in the kitchen and front of house are a delight. Can be busy and some of locals, encouraged by staff, can be noisy and intrusive but after all this is a pub and not a Michelin star restaurant. If you want hushed tones then look elsewhere. Recent visits have exposed a lack of knowledge of how to cook chips - sent ours back twice and at lunchtimes they clearly want you off the premises (we were not offered a sweet). But if you're looking for a really good meal and you have a hearty appetite then you cant go far wrong here
The Three Horseshoes – WakefieldI went to Sammie's for the first time last week, and I ate the best curry I have ever had in my whole life !!!! and believe me I've eaten at 1000's of Indian restaurants. FANTASTIC !!!! I'll be back for my lovely dish of CREAMY CHICKEN this week and then some !
