had a meal there unfortunately at the best it was micro food at the best shame really as it good be a good place to go.

Absolutely overrated- so 70s in style and presentation. the starters appeared to be frozen and came served with slices of bread and butter-bizarre. the food is expensive for pub food- £6 for a starter.The salad came with no dressing and cress and limp lettuce.Will not be going back.

The best restaurant in Doncaster. One off the best blue steak I have ever had cooked to perfection. The staff very friendly Angela and Franseco the owners are outstanding would recommend to anyone. Have eaten there on several occasion even had a New Years Eve there fabulous. Michaela & Nigel

Wonderful traditional home cooked food; meat & potato pie to die for and the chips better than mother makes!!! traditional ales weren't bad either!!!!!!!!! definitely worth more visits

I recently tried to stay at the Scapehouse Inn but to my great disappointment they were no rooms available (it appears to be a pub not a inn with rooms). During my brief visit there were endless fireworks (not bonfire night) a very young clientele? who were drunk and swearing loudly in the bar area. The food was poor, and as a man who values his ale I would not recommend this to anyone I know.

It was a by far the worst meal we have ever had

A truly awful meal! cheap and tired ingredients, cooked and served with indifference. how anyone can spoil a burger to this extent is beyond me.

I went to this place (Bengal Brasserie) with my wife on Christmas eve. The atmosphere was okay but could have been better. The young man in black greeted us professionally and respectively. We were taken to the table and were offered drinks. we were mainly looked after this gentleman and the service was excellent. The starters were great and the food was okay but it could have been better. We were particularly not happy with the way our food got served! we were missing few things and the man bringing the food was not even aware. We prompted him 3 times and he brought them out with each prompt. Over all a good place with okay food but the servicing in general needs looking at!

We have been eating at Saims for about a year, on a regular basis. The food is excellent, the service is always good and the decor is very well done. Altogether a very good restaurant. Julie and Chris Huddersfield

Very good surroundings and a pleasant manner from the Staff. However our last meal here was not upto the normal standard, items missing it looked as though not a lot of thought had gone into the meal preparation and was somewhat rushed with little pride.If you like your steak charcoal Burnt then this is the place to go. We have had some good food here in the past but the meal we had today was not upto scratch, we informed the waitress but we never received a apology. We will be back but will be giving the steak a miss next time

We chose to have a Take a Way here, with high expectations that it would be good, we were very disappointed, we DO like it hot but both dishes were almost inedible with huge chunks of chilli . One of the starters , a chicken skewer seemed to have been re heated and had lost flavour. At that price it really should be consistently better.

I dine here every couple of months and am never disappointed. Consistently great food. The staff are amazing and the atmosphere is relaxed. Made the effort to get there for brunch last Sunday. Revelation. Had truly wonderful eggs Benedict for a fiver.

A truly great place, really excellent food and always busy which is a good sign. I come here with friends who live in Huddersfield, but have even bumped into business contact there who live nearby meaning it's their local. they a so lucky!

From local pub to local curry house; great transition. Thankfully the old pub didn't become a house and we've now got a great place to eat, as well as to have a few beers.

Excellent food and service, my favourite Italian restaurant.

We had a lovely Christmas experience at Piccolino's on 12th December 2008 the staff were excellent and the atmosphere was great. Catering for a group of 40 can never be easy however we found everything was handled in a really professional manner. Thanks also for your help with our other reservation on the 20th December after we were cancelled by another Ilkley restaurant.

Absolutely wonderful! one of the best curry's I've had in ages.... can't wait to go back!
