This is the best place in Leeds to eat on a lunchtime. The food is wonderful and cheap. Forget anywhere else, just eat here.

Top notch food in great surroundings. It's what Hoyland has needed for years and I hope this spells a revival for the town.

have enjoyed a nice meal here, nothing too fantastic though. I walked past before I went to eat in the restaurant and they really need to do something about having their staff sat outside the front door smoking.....it did not give a good impression !

We had a wonderful experience: from excellent service to a range of different flavours. We are not vegetarians and would say to other meat eates give meat a miss for a night and experience the taste of something different

Staff attitude is very poor. They take your booking and then claim they can't find it and push you off to the bar to wait for an eternity.

Recently had Sunday lunch here,and the food served was of a very high quality,the staff were also very friendly and helpful,would definitely go back again

This is an excellent restaurant!The food is the best we have ever had and the service is second to none.The new decor is very modern and relaxing.The staff are very attentive but not intrusive which is great.I would recommend this brasserie to anybody.

visited Rinaldi's on Monday 15th Dec 2008. It has been under new management for a few months now, and it shows. The restaurant is not clean anymore, the stairs up to the toilets was filthy and once inside there was blood all over the tiles. The food in price has gone up and the quality way down. I had lasagna, it was dry and tasteless, my friend had pizza which was undercooked. We ordered a coffee, after trying to get the waiters attention for some time. It tasted dreadful, and was in a thick white pot. There's better food to be had in ASDA. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Fantastic place amazing food!its definitely worth visiting and i promise you, you won't be disappointed.both the restaurant and the pub have such a character!and the food well it speaks for its self,check out the menu before and when you get there see the specials which are varying from salivating rabbit or partridge to amazing veggie pies!i couldn't decide what i enjoyed the most cos everything was truly yummy!Great value too!the photo that i found doesn't make it any justice at all, its very romantic but also great for a group of friends that enjoy good honest food!

Food Average. Management Rude! Would never eat there again!

I had the most fantastic experience there a couple of nights ago. The seafood platter and the manner in which it was served was utterly fantastic. It's quite expensive but that's York. I get the posters point about the crab but crab does take a long time to pick through. The oysters were as fresh as it gets and the lobster pretty, fresh, freshly cooked and tasty. Skip the crayfish.

Quite a remarkable little place. This special little pub will appeal to those who seek absolute quality! It's not expensive but worth a visit for those with discerning tastes. A Country Inn with a hell of a difference!

Have not eaten here since the new regime took over, but having looked at the sample wine list online, I will not be! Anyone who charges £52.50 for Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc must be having a laugh. I reckon that is probably a 300% mark-up. Scandalous!

This isn't a standard curry house menu. It's different, subtle and exotic. I eat some meat but this makes a lovely change. We have been several times now for outings from work and if you request a meal for the group to share, you really get a treat !

Went to Saffron Desi for the first time during a recent visit to Leeds; was pleased to find somewhere to get a curry that was close to The Grand Theatre where we were going that evening. Outstanding service, great choice on menu (including for vegetarians), fantastic food and very reasonable price...we couldn't believe our luck. Highly recommend.

lovely atmosphere , we enjoyed a really lovely meal, one of the more expensive eateries in Whitby but worth it for a special occasion etc. Varied choice on menu and the food was amazing, really tasty and well presented. Also nice just to pop in for a cocktail or coffee with lovely view of the harbour.
