Prashad – BradfordIf you like cocktails this is the place to go! My friends and i came for a birthday meal and as it was a special occasion we decided to treat ourselves to cocktails. The waiter called Ricky is definitely a cocktail wizard. We all had different ones and they were all amazing.Tom Cruise eat your heart out Ricky is a cocktail genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ciao Bella – Leeds City CentreAfter a hectic afternoon shopping my daughter and I stumbled on this restaurant by chance. As it was a sunny day we sat down outside intending only to have a quick drink, however whilst sipping a very nice glass of rose wine and glancing at the extensive menu we couldn't hep but be tempted to stay and eat. The helpful waitress took our order very efficiently and the food arrived very well presented and was quite delicious. We shared the Pizza base with tomato and garlic which had a light crisp base and very garlicky which we both enjoyed. This was followed by lasagna for myself and my daughter had the Remo special pizza which the waitress kindly informed us was named after the owner of the restaurant. Both dishes were tasty and of generous size. Finally we couldn't resist finishing off by sharing my favourite dessert of Tiramisu, which again was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming here again as I was informed that they also do a wide range of cocktails and they are going to be adding new dishes to the already extensive choice on the menu. All in all a lovely food in a lovely setting served by friendly staff.
Ciao Bella – Leeds City CentretHIS HAS NOW BEEN RE NAMED INDIAN PALACE. ITS BEEN GIVEN TACKY NEON LIGHTS THE FOOD ISNT BAD REALLY CHEAP BUT FORMULA STUFF REALLY. WE HAVE STOPPED GOING DUE TO IGNORANT STAFF. SHAME REALLY THAT THE WAITERS HAVE A HORRIBLE ATITUDE THROW FOOD AT YOU
Indian Palace – BridlingtonWe went in on a Wednesday night and were seated almost straight away. The service was fantastic and the young, brown haired woman who served us was bubbly, chatty and genuinely interested in our night out. There was a mistake in the way my main meal was cooked but i know it's not a common thing as we go there often enough. The mistake was rectified quickly and the kitchen staff worked efficiently, while our waitress apologised and offered us a discount. The food is great value for money and we all know that there are plenty of offers designed to draw in the recession hit many but the atmosphere and service sets this restaurant apart from the rest. Recommended!!
Frankie and Bennys – YorkIt's the first time I've been to this Chinese restaurant. I didn't realised that it was there until my husband saw an ad in the telegraph. I was surprisingly impressed with the food. I don't normally go for buffet foods as I much prefer A-la-carte (not that I'm lazy but it's just that I tend to find buffet foods either too stale and dry or too greasy) Anyway, I've been told by the manager that they do, do a-la-carte as well as buffet foods. We decided to try the buffet food out and was very impressed with the dishes. There was alot of choices to choose from and each dish was cooked to perfection. There was also alot of different choices of desserts to choose from. The sponge cake was to die for. My husband and I would definitely go back again, probably try out the a-la-carte menu. The staff were very friendly. My husband enjoyed talking to the manager who seemed very nice. We had a good giggle with him. A really nice geordie lad (yes in a Chinese restaurant) Definitely recommend this place to all friends and families
BC’s – BradfordLooblylou the dessert you mentioned is called falooda
Punjab Sweet House and Chargrill Centre – BradfordAzucars food and drink are simply second to none. Combine that with an amazing music selection, friendly down to earth staff and you have a great dining and bar experience any night of the week
Azucar – Leeds City CentreThis is undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant this side of Milan. I had heard so many good reports I had to go and see for myself, the staff nearly out number the customers due to the small but intimate dining area this is complimented by an open plan kitchen where you can sit and watch food freshly prepared. It’s a taste sensation from a fantastic choice of authentic dishes. It’s a delight to find a place with so much passion for providing the best quality at very reasonable prices. I cannot recommend enough, this place is a real gem and I will certainly be back.
Stefanos – KeighleyThis was our second visit to this restaurant, the first time we were rushed and said we would not go again. However we went to the Play House and thought we would try it again. This time we were pretty much ignored even though the restaurant was not busy. The food was good and not too expensive, but a bottle of Cobra was £4.35, I should have looked at the menu before I ordered it. In a nut shell they were not bothered about us, so we will go else where next time.
Aagrah Restaurant – Leeds City CentreTop marks, 10/10. I have eaten there twice now. Each time the food cannot be faulted. They have been able to keep it the same high quality everytime. I have eaten in loads of curry houses in Bradford. But this is now of of my top places to bring friends. Staff are all great and even the chef popped out to see if everyone was happy with their food. I have been a meat eater all my life, But i could change to being vegetarian.
Prashad – BradfordAlthough pretty local to us it's the first time we've been to the restaurant and was definitely impressed. The food, service and atmosphere were all first class and we had a really great night, I'd recommend it to anyone - it may not be the cheapest place to eat but it certainly is up there with the best.
Kolize Pizzeria – HullJust enjoyed a great meal at Ciao Bella on Brewery Wharf. This restaurant is a little hidden gem on Dock street. I am very lucky as I live opposite it! The food was really first class - I had Bruchetta to start and fantastic meatballs for my main course. Great selection of wines both by the glass and by bottle. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for quality Italian food in an amazing character building.
Ciao Bella – Leeds City CentreThis is a lovely restaurant serving fantastic food. The last time we had a pizza as nice as this we were in Rome!! The restaurant was very quiet but I'm sure as soon as word gets out about the fab food it wont be long before you cant get booked in. The service was excellent and the interior very tastefully decorated. Definitely worth a try.
Ciao Bella – Leeds City Centrei went to ciao bella on week night and found the restaurant to be quite buzzing. it had a few tables in. the starters and main course was fantastic, and the dessert even better. all the staff there are extremely friendly, and helpful, they even made a dish that wasn't on the menu for one of our table, i will definitely be going back.
Ciao Bella – Leeds City CentreGot to thank Tony and his team for their great pub, quality food and friendliness. I run away travel for football supporters and we've been feed and watered three times on our travels up north from Milton Keynes in the last year. Excellent food and service every time for up to 100 of us, they even laid on a full carvery at 10am on our trip to Hartlepool and we've got three more trips to The Black Bull coming up this season. We can't wait as it really adds to our day out. We stop all over the country on our travels and we've made it our pub of the year.
Black Bull – WakefieldWe dined at Prashad last evening and had a superb meal - rengan bhajias (aubergine fritters); idli sambar (rice cakes served with a unique lentil dish); bhinda (spicy ladies fingers [one of Kaushy Patel’s speciality]); and puris. With such outstanding cooking we are not surprised that Prashad keeps maintaining its unique place in the Which Good Food Guide. Bradford Council ought to place this unique restaurant in a most prominent position in its bid to obtain the status of being voted as the European City of Culture. Very few other cities could equal such culinary magic as shown by Kaushy and Minal.
Prashad – BradfordAwful restaurant, very bossy Manager who would not let us have a drink at the bar before our meal, insisted that we sat at a table! Ordered stuffed mushrooms it arrived with 2 mushrooms closed cup mushrooms at that so hardly big, another of our party had poached pears and prosuitto salad to start and it took all of 2 mouthfuls to eat, pears were tinned! Soup was cold, and mains decidedly average.Desserts were slightly better, cheesecake with summer berries had half a strawberry as the 'berries' misleading to say the least, wont be wasting my money there again
