I have visited this restaurant for my birthday 2 years running now and the food has been outstanding. Taking the entire family (6 of us), we have had a wide variety of dishes, with quality consistent across the menu. Extremely reasonably priced (between £4 and £10 for a curry, with most around the £6 mark) and very smartly designed restaurant. Would highly recommend.

I stumbled on this gem of a place whilst working in Leeds and since then I've been back three times and am planning to go this Friday too! The food is fresh, tasty and there's such a variety, and all reasonably priced. Also (as other reviewers have mentioned) they have lots of little authentic Japanese items which you don't get in any other Japanese restaurant except in Japan! This is the best one I have been to in the UK, I only wish it was in my home city!

What a great restaurant! Went to Leeds for my birthday and chose this place from reviews and was not disappointed. I had the vegetarian banquet (soup, 4 mini-starters, 2 mains and bread for £18.00 per head) and my husband had a fantastic seafood stew for £9.00. Fantastic food and great value for money.

After hearing about the myrtle on radio aire. We decided to give it a go to see if it was everything it was made out to be. It certainly was, great food and value for money. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel like we were regulars which was great. A very traditional pub while still keeping up to date with modern day needs. We will definitely return.

Staff attend tables cheerfully and efficiently - but do not impose . . . brilliant! Easy and safe parking (unlike our last trip to the city centre). This was our 1st visit to the Baan Thai-it truly was an absolute amazing visit-Sat 12/5/07-The tofu & veg clr soup-fab-mixed seafood in spicy sauce & bazil-wonderful with garlic & ginger rice-beautiful!!! My husband devoured his pork meatballs n chill sauce-yummy-followed with sliced roast duck- WE DEFINITELY BE RETURNING in a few weeks time! All was freshly cooked! Thai wine-gorgeous- thanks for beautiful meal-Best by far!!
