i took my family for a meal for my daughters birthday, the meals were really big portions, they were all homemade, the lasagna was gorgeous, the prices were brilliant!!
The Robin – HullLovely pub in a superb location. We went for a Sunday lunch but along with everyone else we were kept waiting outside until 12 noon,(opening time) not a minute earlier in the cold (October weather). The front door was left open and we were seated directly in line of the draught. Our starters and main courses were excellent but although we asked for a dessert menu, it never came so we left. Staff not friendly but the food was memorable for the right reasons.

Akbars – Leeds City CentreI had to write to say what a great time we had at Fudge Restaurant in Hull. Our first time after a recommendation from friends and it really is a little gem of a place. Fresh food, imaginative restaurant specials. We have booked an outside catering event for our business and also a birthday celebration in the upstairs private dining area which looks great for parties. Can't wait. Check this place out if you're in Hull. You're missing a treat!

Agra 3 – WorksopWe drive from Manchester to dine here. My hubby not veggie but he likes the freshness and the fact the food is not out of the freezer and into the fryer!! We think its great value for such fresh food and cant recommend it enough.
Dandelion and Burdock – Sowerby Bridgei went to la buona sera i couple of weeks ago, i have to admit the food was nice, service was OK. the atmosphere was OK but not what we wanted. we used to go to la buona sera a couple of years ago when it was named "bella rosa" we used to love going there every weekend. the atmosphere was amazing the staff were great. it was the best Italian restaurant we had ever been to by far. mimo was the most nicest person ive met. not to mention is wife and daughter. bella rosa was a family buisness and i would like to say i miss them very much. so if your reading this mimo and family, we want you back in Halifax. we will go back to buona sera, it wasnt a complete let down, and i will spread the news.
Julio’s – HalifaxBy the people who had Chilli Pepper Deli (which was amazing!) the food and selection here is just as great. We are always reassured by the veggie selection's consistent quality. Recommend a potato and pea corma. Only drawback for me and my memory is cash or cheques - no cards!
Corner Cafe – Leeds City CentreBooked as a treat before going to the theatre, however big let down. We (3 of us) ordered a starter & main course, but the main course turned up first. We explained we had ordered starters & the mains were removed. Our waitress then explained saying she'd 'forgot' too put them through the till (no sorry)! After another 10 mins the starters came, but the 'king' prawns were burnt & small at a cost of £1.50 each - however we dare not complain. Main courses were 'ok' however had been kept warm which we knowe because the side salad on each plate was 'cooked'. If we had known we'd get the same main meals we would have cancelled the starters... Disappointing & annoying - won't recommend or return!!
Lounge Bar and Grill – Leeds City CentreI have been eating at the sweet centre since I was in a high chair! I come from a family of serious curry fans, and nowhere else we have tried comes close to the sweet centre. The prices are unbelievably cheap and the food is authentic and exquisite. The staff are very helpful and attentive and are more than happy to meet the needs of individual customers. I recommend the restaurant to everyone I know, I wont have a bad word said about it - and I'm yet to hear one!! If you love curry, you will love the sweet centre. I promise.
Sweet Centre Restaurant – BradfordI love food and this is my favourite place to eat in the UK! I have been going here for at least the last 8 years, and the food and service remains outstanding. Amazing value for money, starter, main and drink for under £13.00. And you are never gonna leave hungry.
Fuji Hiro – Leeds City CentreWhat a great eating experience. I loved it. Fresh food cooked right in front of you so you know that each dish you have chosen is fresh fresh. Fantastic for my kids and I have signed up for their free Club Temujin which made my meal even better value. The desserts were to die for. A fantastic, entertaining night. We will be going back and a brilliant alternative to that curry as it is also very healthy.
Temujin Mongolian Restaurant – HuddersfieldShame about the service and cost, otherwise this bar could be a best seller, ambience and cuisine wise. The Loos need attending to more regularly.
Las Iguanas – Leeds City CentreI went to this restaurant with my family as i had heard it was great for kids and they were right. The kids loved it and the food was excellent. We will definitely be going back!!!
