21/08/2007 The Aroma Restaurant in Northallerton is outstanding, really good decor, very comfortable, great atmosphere, the customer service is excellent, very helpful even on a Tuesday, the restaurant was packed, every table was taken it was a good thing that we booked. The food is really tasty and very well presented, all this and a new menu, with the like of lobster, mussels and duck. The price is very fair, me and my wife had starters, mains, vegs, coffees, on top of all this 2 rounds of drinks and a bottle of red wine. all for only £40 and as i was on my way to the toilet i couldn’t help but notice all the awards they have won in less then 3 years. I will definitely be going back and would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Best Indian restaurant in Northallerton and surrounding area by far.

I've eaten here a few times but the one thing i always look forward to is the annual Seafood Festival - fantastic!!

Medici restaurant offers exceptional food with a warm, friendly service. The food is priced to suit all pockets and extremely good value. North Ferriby and the surrounding villages are so lucky having such a fine restaurant on their doorsteps.

An excellent all round experience! Plush dark wood and plum decor add a touch of class considering you are in a casino,(separated away from the main gaming area)with swift and attentive service and the absolute high point being the delicious and superbly presented food. Granted, this review is based on a Sunday Lunch menu, which is set at 3 courses(selections to suit all),and the choice through the week is far and varied, but by these standards I would gladly visit at any time due to the faultless experience that is Napoleons. Great for couples and groups, as I have visited on more than one occasion, more recently with my girlfriend who was also impressed by the quality on offer and over time the standards have not slipped a bit which impressed me! Membership is required unless you are a guest of a card holder and it is a very popular destination so booking is advisable. Go and enjoy!!

I have been to Rinaldis many times & find the food (especially the carbonara and bolognaise although my sister swears by the lasagne) delicious. It is reasonably priced with a lovely busy bustly atmosphere (not somewhere perhaps for an intimate dinner) & has now been extended.

Fantastic pizzas, excellent value - service can sometimes be a little slow when they are v busy but overall a really good bet.

Having moved to Cleckheaton in 2004, we have had the pleasure of going to Aldos for the last three years and we always find the service, food and atmosphere to be excellent. Our 7 year old son, Luke, loves to watch the chefs spinning out his pizza base before it is freshly cooked. Recently we brought my wifes mother for her 70th birthday and the sparkler and the singing of happy Birthday from the whole restaurant quite took her breath away. One pointer for first timers, get there early as it is always busy, whatever night of the week it may be.

Always a good meal with a good choice of fresh vegetables. the sweets are to die for and I just keep going back with friends. Very friendly staff. The only down is the tables are all close together, but makes for a friendly atmosphere.

25 August 2007 Popped in with my husband and a friend for a bite to eat. We were welcomed by a beautiful young lady and shown to our seats in perfect Thai style. Gary the owner, he quickly made himself known, offered the wine list and over a very modest price bottle of Cabernet we had the difficult choice of choosing our food from a choice of 80 dishes. We chose mixed starters and battered prawns. Weeping Tiger steak with noodles, steamed sea bass with stir fry veg and a stir fry rice dish with prawns, which was very hot and spicy, just as I like it. The food was cooked to perfection by Juree, Gary's partner. The bill was around £60 for the three of us, with sparkling water and coffee. the reviews in the window for once tell the truth, Oliver of YEP fame gave them stars out of 20 and we agree.

Great place, Great food and Great staff. Would fully recommend it. 10/10

We've been going to Amanns since it opened and haven't found another curry house that comes close to the quality of the the food or the friendly service of the staff. They well deserve all the awards they have won. If you are not usually a curry person then the Vensi is great - rich creamy dish. I like to go through all the specialities then start back at the begining they're all that good!

Food is great and it is halal. A definite plus. The owner and the family all work together to bring a great meal at a great price. Try the Tandoori Mix Grill. It is Fab...

i have eaten at the angel twice, both times the food was exceptional! the pub/restaurant is quite small so prebooking is really essentail however you can squeeze into the bar area for food of the same standard. wine and beer selection is excellent and the added advantage of rooms in the oub are recommended as it is off the beaten track. i heartly recommend beating the track to the door, enjoy and nip over the road to the wine shop before you leave.

Fresh food and vegetables served nicely and hot , good quick service. Reasonably priced. Not usual plastic pub food.

We popped in to the Caddyshack on a recommendation, we had been before but apparently it has been taken over by new owners and the food has greatly improved. we went with my parents for a Sunday lunch ,it was the best Sunday dinner I have ever had !a bold statement indeed. but at only 5.50 we were more than impressed, service good great atmosphere can't wait for next Sunday

First time there, and once we realised that there was a room upstairs apart from the overcrowded downstairs part, it transformed into a splendid evening out. Very helpful and friendly staff and lovely food. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is actually located in Selby, not York. So there is a mis-print here. They have a new canopy put up on there entrance, it looks very welcoming. We have been many times and the food has always been very good. I really recommend this place.
