Unbelievably good. My favourite restaurant in Leeds. They never disappoint me. The food is first class and is complimented by the most delightful and efficient service I have ever experienced. If you have not been you are missing out. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.
Sukhothai Restaurant – Chapel Allerton – Chapel AllertonGood range of real ales compliment the bar food. Restaurant menu looked very inviting, however there is only so much one can eat at one sitting! Atmosphere of the bars was fantastic and it was good to see gas lamp lighting adding to the ambience.
Kings Arms – WakefieldThe food was great, the only thing that let this place down was that it was so busy they didn't have enough staff to cope so had to wait for ages and the restaurant part of the pub being small so everyone seemed to be talking far too loud as tables to close to each other.
Great Western, The – HuddersfieldGreat little find this. I highly recommend going, the staff will remember your orders if you go more than a few times and the bean curd is a dream.
Tams Cantonese Cuisine – KeighleyAn excellent little restaurant tucked away below street level. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was of excellent quality and good value for money. The little extras given complimentary with the meal made it all the more special. A hidden gem in Halifax.
Julio’s – HalifaxWhen we eat here we ask for the authentic Chinese menu, the one which the Chinese people eat from. Try the soy chicken, minced pork and aubergine casserole, minced pork and beancurd with chilli, roast meat combination and some choi-sum with oyster sauce and garlic. You have not tried Chinese food until you have eaten from their menu, and I promise you will never order sweet and sour again in your life!!
China Palace Cantonese Restaurant – DoncasterA very nice restaurant, and lovely inside, i recommend this to anyone. The staff are really helpful and the food is gorgeous!
The Red Kite – WakefieldThis place is absolutely brilliant my wife and i eat here about 2 - 3 times a year. The Champagne dinner costs around £35 per head for a 5 course meal, with a glass of champagne. The setting is very homely and relaxing. We even had our wedding reception here last year. Highly recommended to anyone caring to visit.

Akbars – Leeds City CentreI have been to Thai Edge a few times simply because the food is fantastic. The staff are polite and attentive, not to mention authentic! The complementary crackers and chilli sauce they have waiting at the table only adds to the customer service. A smart modern interior with attention to detail, without any snooty atmosphere. Dress up, dress down, nobody is going to comment either way. I do have to say that the menu is rather pricey but if that doesn't bother you that much, go and enjoy.

We both had the "Dans" steak and ale pie, and were not disappointed on the quality or quantity of the food. Good home cooking, none of the mass produced pub chain food. Fresh, well cooked veg and a meaty pie, all for a very reasonable price.

Its good value, fresh ingredients, utilitarian approach beats the competition into a wok. I always leave feeling healthy and satiated. Unlike other noodle bars the menu is small and unfussy and the service is very friendly and they are happy to cater for kids. My daughter has been eating there since she was in the womb.
