Amazing food. Cooked to perfection. My 10oz Stake was one, if not the best Stake I ever had in more than 20 years. I will be back asap,to dive again.. I will have to prove to my self,I wasn't drunk or dreaming... Even garnish was top top...,my wife greek food top top,disert couldn't be finished...(top top)... Chef ,congratulations and staff aswel. Keep it up and see you soon

Had a really good Sunday dinner. We have eaten in most places serving Sunday dinner and yours rates in the top 2. Value for money and service was good too.

Service excellent. Tasty food. A good choice and very good portion sizes. Slightly disappointed that I had mentioned the poor quality of a portion of the chicken breast (which had a large vein running through it), which the staff had addressed with me at the time. However, as that particular part of the meal wasn’t good quality, I thought not offering a slight discount or maybe dessert for free was a little disheartening. Shame really as I’ve been here before, and came back expecting the same quality food.

We came along to the quiz night on the first Monday of February and had a great night. The food was great value for the £10, and the quiz was challenging and well paced. Friendly staff who always had a smile. We didn’t win, but will try our luck again next time!

Nice food everyone in our party enjoyed what they had, the place is not well enough known and needs a higher profile to bring in more customers. Our meals were varied but enjoyable, overall price was good staff friendly and helpful couldn't ask much more

The service was great, the food was amazing, the staff were very helpful. Only gripe if I had to be really fussy is that we got told it's table service (which it was) but once we had finished our meal, no one came over at all for a good 15mins, just walked by, so we went to the bar and paid for the food. But that's nothing when the rest of the service and food was impeccable.

Had a delicious complimentary dinner for my birthday. Have been many times as it is one of my favourite eating places.

3 of us came here for Sunday lunch and were warmly greeted, even though we were early. 2 had the roast beef dinner and commented how much meat they got and how delicious it was. I just had everything but the meat and was fairly charged at a child's price. We had sticky toffee pudding for dessert, and were given the option of ice-cream, cream or custard to accompany it. Great food and great service.

We had a lovely time at the Kitchen on Sunday but my Granddaughter ordered a toasted baguette when it arrived it looked like a toasted sandwich, the Service was slow and one of the orders was switched round. Also the vegetables were under cooked and hard my husband was unable to the broccoli it was to hard.

Really lovely meal for my birthday - pies were great and my two girls both had burgers which were equally good. Was also very reasonable price wise as if it's your bday you get your main free, which I wasn't expecting. Nice comfy seats and didn't wait long for food. Just right!

Good portion of food, shame we weren’t told no crackling or offer of sauce, as stated on menu, as soon as meal put on table they quickly disappeared. We weren’t sure whether to go to bar or wait for service as no instructions given.

Easy to book and was able to sit comfortably with a nice drink while we waited for our table. (we were early) Food was lovely especially the delicious chips, an Ellenders speciality. Hubby had mushy peas but no option for garden peas for me. This did not ruin my meal. Will definitely repeat our visit. January offer of two mains for £25 also great value for money.

Typical pub grub with vegan options, cant complain! Good music that wasn't too loud, friendly and kind staff. Toilets and tables were clean enough too.

Great night at Ellenders for the quiz night. Chicken Breast with mash and a lovely mushroom sauce.

We pre booked just incase it was busy, staff was very accommodating, polite and respectful. Food was delicious as always. Would recommend this place to anyone.
