The staff very kind and welcoming but I booked a table online 3 days prior to our visit and when we turned up they hadn’t got the booking even though I had a email confirmation. We got seated after they found a table ordered our drinks and then waited 15-20 minutes to order our food after I went to the host to let them know we are still waiting. We all ordered a roast dinner which was served in a fair time. The vegetables were so hard the roast potatoes were too big and some not cooked properly, but the gravy meat and Yorkshire pudding were nice.

This was my first visit and although we had a wait for food, it was well worth it. We were looked after with all the staff polite and friendly. Thank you. We will be back

Great venue and Excellent service and food.

I thought it was a great atmosphere in the pub. The food was nice and staff were very friendly. We had an assistance dog and even given some treats which was nice. The food was lovely though when one of the party wanted a bit of ice cream and custard with sweet was told no. We’ve never known that anywhere else and other places accommodate requests. We found it a little pricy too when it came to the bill.

Gorgeous food, lovely service

We had a friend’s leaving do there and it was great. Staff were excellent, the meal was delicious. Will be taking my OH for a meal out there. The atmosphere was lovely.

Not really a restaurant but more like tables within a bar. It was a Saturday night yet no one else was eating in the so called restaurant. The place appeared overstaffed and not very welcoming.

I had a retirement meal for work colleagues and friends on Saturday the 27th of September. Everything about the meal was first class. Food, service, the staff at Ellenders were fantastic.

Ellenders never disappoints. We ate with friends for my wife’s birthday and everything was delicious and Lottie was as usual very attentive and very professional. Goes without saying we will be back.

Fantastic meal in Ellenders as usual. The chicken leek and bacon pie was probably the best pie I have ever had(and believe me I've had a few). The staff were lovely and attentive, would not hesitate to recommend this venue.
