China City – Liverpool City CentreWe decided to eat out in town after dropping our daughter back at college on Duke street last Thursday evening and had thought about trying 'The Hub'. It looked really packed so we went into Bistro Franc and were immediately shown to a table even though it was quite busy and we hadn't booked. The ambience in the restaurant is lovely, the lighting is just right and the waiter and waitress gave us just the right amount of time to make our minds up on what to eat and drink. We went for the £11.95 pre theatre menu and I have to say we were so glad the Hub was packed!! We both had goats cheese to start - which had a lovely taste. For mains, Husband had the salmon pasta which had plenty of salmon in and I went for the seabass. Although it was quite a small piece it really was quite enough with all the lovely vegetables added. The food was fresh and hot and very tasty. We finished off with a chocolate and orange cheese cake and eton mess - which was huge!! The merlot wine was to die for and all in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours. We enjoyed it so much we are thinking of taking all our family back there to celebrate my Husband's 50th birthday in July. Go - you won't be disappointed.
Bistro Franc – Liverpool City CentreIt is a nice restaurant, lovely food and good service. Particularly the tapas are nice. The drawback was that there was no bread with our tapas, and when we asked for some, they charged us £1,95 for one small flat loaf. That was a bit mean......
Kasbah Cafe & Bazaar – Liverpool City CentreMy friend and i were there on fri 16th march had a meal which was lovely staff very helpful would recommend enjoyed the show, robert fisher male vocalist was fantastic
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreI recently visited Kasbah Cafe
Kasbah Cafe & Bazaar – Liverpool City CentreTalk about hidden gem,we had already enjoyed a few fun evenings at the bar at the Sink which succeeds in capturing both a cool New York vibe and a laid back Mediterranean flavour, however we were yet to sample the food. Wow, after having selected four tapas for £10 which consisted of hoisin duck wraps, mini fajitas, meze platter and skin on chips and dips all three of us were amazed at the portion size and quality . Not a chip was left and whilst we were accompanied by a fabulous acoustic guitarist we found out about the 3 course Sunday roast for £8 which is now top of our to do list. I thoroughly recommend this cool and trendy venue which certainly delivers.
The Sink – Liverpool City CentreWent as recommended by several friends - great venue and chilled atmosphere but bit disappointed with food - it was nice but portion sizes were pretty poor - expensive for what we got??
The Hub Alehouse & Kitchen – Liverpool City CentreOverpriced, extremely bland for Thai food, and on the second attempt (to give it a chance to redeem itself, we love Thai food), also caused an immediate and uncomfortable gastric reaction (down, not up) before even leaving the restaurant.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreJust wanted to send a quick message to the team to let everyone know and see how much we enjoyed our meal at Gusto last night. There were 5 of us, it was the first time for us all eating with you. We were served by Stephen who was absolutely fantastic. Really professional, friendly and made sure we had a wonderful time. We will most definitely be returning, often!
Gusto – Liverpool City CentreExcellent service and excellent food!

Delifonseca – Liverpool City CentreMy friends and i went to the Kasbah Bizarre, for my birthday meal, and i have to say it is one of the most amazing restaurants and probably one of the best meals i and my friends have ever had! As soon as you walk in through the door your no longer in Liverpool your in Morroco with tastefully decorated ambiance, beautiful aroma's that are breath taking, A warm and friendly greeting were you are made to feel special. we had the platters an tagines and kofta's, we didn't speak much while eating as the food was so delicious! Aromatic mint tea complimentary! Myself and my friends work in the hotel industry and all agreed we would highly recommend the KASBAH BIZARRE to any of our guests who are looking for something different, we will be returning to this fabulous restaurant as couldn't fault anything, absolutely amazing!! as my friend kerry kept saying last night love this so unique,! We all loved it x
Kasbah Cafe & Bazaar – Liverpool City Centrewent for my daughter 21st had an amazing time food was fabulous ans service was to , will be going back very soon
Matou – Liverpool City CentreA couple of weeks ago I went into Kimos for a quick bite to eat whilst on a break from university. I can only describe my visit as disgusting. I ordered a chicken tikka jacket potato and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was spilling everywhere and the glass it was served in looked dirty so I didn't even bother to drink it. Then when the food came, the smell off the chicken was repulsive. I assume the chicken was out of date by the smell coming off it so I pushed that to one side and tried the potato which was hard and uncooked. Me and my company just stood up and left. Never in my life have I been so disgusted with food and service that I would actually walk out of a restaurant but I would not recommend any person to go here, it is not a food representation of the food places available in Liverpool!
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreAMAZING CURRY Balti Express in Liverpool is on Park Road and the shop front is incredibly eye-catching. I was on my way to Tesco and phoned them whilst doing my shopping and spoke to a very helpful member of staff. Upon leaving I received a call to say that parking outside the takeaway was limited and that they would wait OUTSIDE with the food for me and my correct change. Service was fantastic and only surpassed by the excellent food. Big chunks of chicken, thick sauce with lots of fresh green chillies.Flawless!
Balti Express – Liverpool City CentreGreat meal for the second time , when you have a nice meal you are never sure you will get the same again - no worries here - great service - nice surroundings - well worth a visit , and I will be going again
Matou – Liverpool City CentreJust the right quaint place to meet up with a old friend to enjoy the lovely food and drink and natter the dessert is a must. Love the look of the place very French and cozy..
Bistro Franc – Liverpool City CentreHighly recommended. We stumbled upon this cafe looking for a quick bite for lunch, and having passed lots of Costa's, Cafe Neros'/ Starbucks etc we found Kasbah. From the moment we walked in I got a good feeling about the place, atmosphere, lots of glass morrocan lanterns hanging from the ceiling and carpets and brass tables all around. I saw a lady having the tagine as I walked past and even though we were only looking for a sandwich, I had to order it.It was the tastiest thing I have eaten in a long time. So much flavour, and the lamb was perfectly cooked. It was £8.95, not cheap cheap but amazing value for money when you see what you get. Very big portion, plus rice with 2 large pieces of lamb. I now know it's more of a main course than a snack! But polished it all off anyway as it was so delicious. I left the cafe very warmed and contented on a cold February afternoon.
Kasbah Cafe & Bazaar – Liverpool City Centre2 courses plus a piece of home-made dessert, £12.50. Available until 6.30pm Wednesday and Thursday and until 5.30pm Fridays (excludes Bank Holidays).
