What a gem! My first visit to this parisienne style bistro and most definitely not the last. Cosy, lively, friendly, relaxed, great fun and excellent food. Try the Wednesday night offer- a real buzzing night and soooo cheap. Love it!

Large Chinese restaurant in the heart of Liverpool's Chinatown. Friendly welcome from staff on arrival. Very busy on the ground floor when we arrived so we were escorted to a room upstairs which is used during busy periods. Very nice surroundings, beautiful food and right in the heart of town. The ideal place to start / end the evening.

Huge helpings and very tasty food. Great location too.

Had a great night out with the girls from the office.It was Thurs night,there was live music,the service was second to none,the atmosphere was great,felt like we were tucked away in France somewhere.This is a must for all who appreciate good food in a great atmosphere.....a bit of escapism!!!

We eat here regularly when we want some really good pasta and a lively Italian atmosphere. Deserts never disappoint either!

Been there on three occasions (2 lunches and a supper) and I am impressed by this restaurant. Dim Sum was excellent and the river view make this place a must go. Unlike the others I have never had any problems regarding the service of this restaurant. Recommended.

Very pleasant with a lovely water feature below the restaurant. I went in there at lunch time and there was a very good business menu.

Myself and a group of friends dined at Blundell Street for a birthday celebration. Both the food and ambience were excellent. The staff were very attentive and the music and entertainment was great will definitely go again

What a delight to walk into a restaurant and be greeted and seated straight away. I chose to have the food from the bargain section on the two courses for £9.90 on a Sunday evening! The food was tasty very nice. The atmosphere and music were aligned with each other just right. My only down side that I can think of is that they should give more of a choice on the bargain side of the menu, we were going to have a desert but because of the limited choice we chose not too, none tickled our tastebuds.

I visited Piccolino's for the first time last night; my husband took me for my birthday meal. It was a wonderful choice with top quality food that evidently used the freshest of ingredients and service that was attentive and aware of our needs without being pushy or intrusive. For starters my husband had a selection of breads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, I asked for a small portion of the wild mushroom risotto (available as a main) which was perfectly cooked and delicately flavoured without being bland. For our main course my husband chose the crispy duck which he raved about (although not particularly a duck lover I tried this and found it quite tasty too), I selected chicken stuffed with smoked ham and mozzarella on a bed of sweet peppers and can heartily recommend this. We both had the garlic and rosemary roast new potatoes as a side. For pudding we both had the chocolate nemesis, which is a warm and gooey chocolate pudding served with almond ice-cream sat on biscotti......this was so yummy words can not describe it! We also shared a serving of the tiramisu, this was divine, the marscapone having being whipped to a light fluffy texture it wasn't heavy like I have found it to be elsewhere.

An excellent restaurant in Liverpool. Nice setting, Service is good and waiters know the dishes well and eager to explain to customer. Food is fantastic, from pre-starter to dessert, from the looking to the taste is perfect and professional. The dessert is even better. The wine list is amazing, there are lots of choice of wine, fine wine and fortify around the world, with 20 of them in glass, dozen of half bottles and magnums, sure you can find one to match your dishes. The price is not cheap but it worth more. I have been there 3 time in 2 months. About 50 quid per head, included 3-courses meal, glass of wine, and coffee.

The food was divine, waitress wonderful, and they made a birthday evening special for us.

The Chung Ku looks very impressive from the outside, and was beautiful inside. The food was nice but wasn't worth the high prices. Would rather go to Chinatown. The waiters were rushed us which made us feel uncomfortable.
