Maharaja South Indian Restaurant

Very fine South Indian cuisine, of which the whole menu consists. The banquets are an especially good introduction to the style of food, cooked with water rather than ghee, and spicy more than fierce. An excellent addition to the local Indian scene.

Uni Restaurant

Very good, after being very disappointed by the majority of Indian cuisine in Merseyside I came across Sugarvine and have since checked out millon and Uni, both are excellent restaurants. Uni is very cosy for couples and serve really excellent food, a wide range and modestly priced. I have only been once but on that occasion the service was good, not excellent. It was prompt enough but perhaps lacking in friendliness. Go to this restaurant if you like good Indian food, you will not be disappointed.

Ego Mediterranean Restaurant

Had a nice meal here before the theatre. The early evening prix fixes menu is very good although, of course, the choice has some limitations. There is a buzzy atmosphere which I find a bit noisy, but I thank many people would like it.

Tess Rileys

Great food, very cheap with big portions

Sapporo Teppanyaki

Excellent service with good quality fresh food cooked at your table. A very comfortable and relaxed bar area where you can go following your meal. Overall a wonderful night out

Piccolino

Absolutely superb. The sea bass and swordfish dishes were stupendous. I had mussels to start and my wife had asparagus, both excellent. Beautiful wine and Irish coffees to finish I can? wait to go back.

London Carriage Works

My partner and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening we had to wait about five weeks for a table but it was worth the wait. This is by far the best restaurant I have eaten at in Liverpool the food was fantastic and is worth the money you pay. You get a lot of food not like some pricey restaurant's the whole dover sole could have served two people. The deserts where delicious make sure you leave some room. The service in this restaurant was also fantastic the staff are very helpful and friendly our water and wine glass never went empty. Would definitely recommend this stylish restaurant.

Chung Ku

A Large group of friends and I dined at Chung Ku for a wedding reception. The service was excellent as was the food; it was very posh but relaxed atmosphere. The bill was expensive and they include their tip in the cost but for a special occasion it? worth it.

La Vina

Have been for lunch several times and the tapas takes you back to your hols especially the sardines and the ham. Service couldn't be better and the cheesecake out of this world. Feels more authentic than the other tapas in town, which feels more and more the chain restaurant that it is.

Chung Ku

I live in London and I would consider driving up just to go to this restaurant and not just to see my beloved Reds!

Sapporo Teppanyaki

You pay for the entertainment in the price of the meals. The Food is very good and will be eating there again. The service from the waiting staff was good but could have been better. Don? let this put you off though, it? a great night out.

The food is cooked in front of you, the chefs entertain you, I would return in a heartbeat. None of the stuffiness of a posh restaurant, yet the place is fab.

Monro

Went this Easter weekend and were very impressed, in fact delighted. This is cooking on another level for the price you pay. We both had a starter and main course, both beautifully presented and unequivocally fresh. This is A Class stuff here and we only paid £9.95 for the 2 courses! Don? be fooled by the price this little place is seriously up there and a real (inexpensive) treat, thanks!! AAA++

Chung Ku

We had our wedding reception here and had a fantastic time. Great food, service and ambience. Thoroughly recommended and certainly one of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK.

It? not just a restaurant but a night of entertainment as well. The food is probably some of the best food I have eaten in Liverpool. I have to be honest and say I was sort of expecting the sushi not to be freshest or the best tasting, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. Well worth the prices, but just go easy, as the portions and side portions can be a little overwhelming by the end of the night. Nobody on out table managed a desert. Be warned. Great night out and cant wait to go again.

Bistro Pierre

As a confirmed Francophile for many years I found the Bistro to be a sheer delight and as it was my choice I was very pleased that the rest of the staff enjoyed their meals, we all had an extremely pleasant time after a hard days work and we fully intend to make the Wednesday night special a regular event
