Perfectly acceptable food - particularly if you've had a few drinks! Have been here twice and was a bit under whelmed both times. My decision to return here says a lot of about the state of the other subcontinent inspired restaurants in Liverpool. Nevertheless, it is quite cheap and there were no problems with the quality of the meat etc. It's just a bit bland -food for people who think Chicken Tikka Massala is a staple part of the average Indian persons diet.

Having avoided Asian food in the UK due to the vast amounts of MSG, sugar and quality, I was amazed with Mei Mei's choice, pricing and taste! Very efficient service and friendly staff. Setting - normal circular tables, but good food and excellent service is all you need.

We visited this restaurant on 02/9/05 when were visiting Liverpool for the weekend (we live in co Durham), we just jumped in a taxi on the Albert docks and asked him to take us to a nice Italian restaurant and he brought us here, we were impressed the second we walked through the door, there were no tables as we hadn? booked but we got sat round the pizza bar which looks onto a big oven in the shape of a big head and the mouth is where they cook the food, the service at this place was second to none and the food matched it, 10/10, we will definitely visit llfornos next time we are in Liverpool, we often talk about the meal we had there because nowhere can match it.

Service was excellent and the building itself is nice. The menu is varied and is not too expensive. It was however, overpriced for the quality of the food. They should either up the quality or lower the prices.

This was a nice place to eat everyone was friendly but not outstanding, i have eaten in better Chinese places than this yes its clean yes its modern but not cosy. If you want a nice cosy romantic atmosphere this is not for you its a huge modern brightly lit place and very little ambience. All in all it was a 6 out of ten.

Had a great meal -food hot, plentiful and well presented. Staff very attentive and friendly. We were a bit concerned that being in Cavern area that it may be overpriced but came away feeling we had a great meal. Would definitely go there again.

We loved Puschka! The waiters were very friendly and very efficient. I had the best bit of beef I've eaten in many a year. Well-matured and simply done. My partner's sea bream was (apparently) very good; I wasn't allowed to try it! The pear and almond tart was a triumph.

My mother and I had lunch there today and the food was fantastic - just £6.95 for 3 courses which were all superb! Will definitely return and recommend this to all of my friends.

We went last night for my birthday and the food and service were both excellent. The decor has to be seen to be believed! Probably the best restaurant ive been to in Liverpool so far.

A truly Spanish restaurant right in the heart of the City of Culture. The Tapas dishes are generous and delicious, the Paella is to die for, particularly the Marisco (Seafood) Paella and the wines and beers are all fantastic. Couple this with the wonderful service from Javier and his team of mostly Spanish staff and you have a superb dining experience.

The best night out in Liverpool went for my birthday and was overawed by the place itself and the attentiveness of the staff, decor has to be seen to be believed definitely the jewel in Liverpool? crown !

Best Chinese restaurant I have been to, well worth the price for such delicious food.

Went to Alma de Cuba on Saturday night, the atmosphere was amazing, perfect for a sociable, relaxed evening. Words cannot describe the setting you basically have to see it to believe it!! Highly recommended!

Went for Sunday Brunch and waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. When it came it was nice but the amount of time we waited would put us off going again.

Quite simply the best restaurant in Liverpool by mile! The food outstanding and service outstanding and couldnt believe how reasonable the bill came to. What a find! Cant wait to go again...... Pizza next time, the real wood burning oven was like a tomb! And made the whole restaurant smell beautiful.

Excellent meal with fantastic homemade pasta. Only problem was it was very busy so service was fairly slow. If you're going to the Phil for a concert, book early enough to allow time to get there!

What a really nice place, went today with my mum, I had cannelloni and mum had del secolo I with Parma ham and mushrooms. One of the best meals I have had in a restaurant in a long time. The service is really good without being "in your face". Would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely Fabulous! Early doors menu is amazing value for money. I was spoiled for choice because it all sounded so nice. Food was beautifully presented and staff very attentive. A bit off the beaten track but definitely a hidden treasure.
