Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreExtremely good food at a reasonable price for the quality you receive. A very, elegant place with lovely staff. This place is a credit to Liverpool.
Ziba Restaurant and Bar – Liverpool City CentreWent to La Tasca on 25/07/2006, got a table straight away as a hot night and everyone was sitting outside, but wasn? to hot inside so was comfortable, and was served straight away with drinks, and was left a short while to chose from the menu, the waitress who served us was a bit stroppy but hey the food definitely made up for it "just delicious" celebrated my 36 birthday with 3 friends and they all said the same most enjoyable evening, lovely food well priced you don? have to break the bank lovely clean restaurant comfortable defo going back SOON
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreTried many of the Indian restaurants in Liverpool and this one is by far the best! I have never been disappointed in any way, even when I have been worse for the wear! Great service and great food, a class act!!
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreI agree with the people who say the chairs are too low but you soon forget about that once you have been sat down for a while. We did comment that we were thinking about asking for a cushion when we got in! Aside from the height of the chairs, this is a fabulous place to spend an evening. We arrived half an hour early and went through to the bar for a drink and a waitress came to find us and told us she would be over to get us when our table was ready. The building itself is beautiful, especially the alter inside. People have commented on it being 'dark' but I would not go that far, it is dimly lit but this adds to the relaxed ambience in my opinion. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding, I did not come across one snotty, impolite member of staff, they were all very friendly and helpful, even helping us with our food choices. The wine list is impressive and I did not think it was too over priced for the standard of the wine. The menu has something for everyone with some very interesting selections on there, but I went for a boring but excellent choice - the Argentinean Fillet of Beef which came with huge home made potato wedges and mushrooms and tomato. I would highly recommend this dish. I would have gone for the Chateaubriand as this is the best cut of the fillet but unfortunately this was a dish which had to be shared and my companion was a vegetarian - ah well! We stayed in the bar all night after our meal and it is that kind of place - somewhere you would go for an evening. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, relaxed evening. Can't wait to go back!!
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreThe staff were very friendly and efficient. Some of the best Chinese food I've eaten and I've tried a lot in many different countries! The food is high quality, the average cost for a meal was £6 i.e. Chow Mein etc, very large portions. Would definitely recommend.
New Capital Chinese Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreAlthough the food and location are superb, what spoils it is their policy of not allowing you to book a table in advance so you end up being forced to spend money at their bar whilst waiting for your table. Shame really!
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreVery good food with friendly staff enjoyed good meals before the summer pops we will go again.
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreFriendly little brasserie, great service. Food delicious. Bit warm inside but tables to sit at outside on hot nights!
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreWent to Piccolino? on 27 June with a party of 10. We where very well received from the moment we entered the place, the food was excellent, I?e described it as pricey by way of a compliment and it is more than justified when you consider the surroundings , decor and staff. The food was fantastic and attention to detail faultless, the restaurant was 3/4 full but despite this the service was swift and professional. Would highly recommend for any occasion and will be going back on a regular basis from now on.
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreExcellent service as always, the new free WiFi broadband access has made business lunch a pleasure. I bring all my clients here. Excellent!
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreI went to this restaurant and I was very pleased with it I really enjoyed my meal and I would really like to go again the only criticism I would give it is that the meal and drinks was a bit pricey and I would have normally took more money
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreWe had so lovely time last Saturday night at the monro. the food was just perfect and the place was packed. We will go again when we'll visit Liverpool next time. A great place to eat or have a drink. AAAAAAAAA++++
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreNice building but inside it is almost completely dark, the chairs are perfect level for me as i'm 6'7 but I would imagine smaller people would have a problem with them. The food was adequate for the price. The main plus point over other restaurants is that the waiting on staff are excellent. Possibly the best service in Liverpool. If they could only lighten the place up a bit (it is a bit morbid, especially as it is was a church), sort the chairs out and maybe have more than one cubicle in the toilet in the restaurant it would be great.
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreWent here 4 my 16th Birthday with friends, we had a great time and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The waiter's also sang Happy Birthday, very entertaining but sang out of tune lol, looking forward to going back.
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreI just love 'all-day breakfasts' and The Pilgrim is one of my regular haunts. The King size breakfast at £2.95 is terrific value and there is usually a selection of real ales to sample to accompany your meal. During term times the place can be busy with students but if you choose your time as I do you can eat in peace.
Pilgrim – Liverpool City CentreMy friends and I went on a hen night to the Blundell Street recently, although I have dined here before and was impressed, this time was even better. The food was fantastic and though are party was a large group of 27; we were served efficiently by friendly helpful staff. The music was great and there was a great atmosphere.
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreAt last I have found a restaurant in Liverpool which offers quality British Food, which is freshly prepared, tasty and good value for money. I was pleased to see no signs of foodservice rubbish, which tends to be served up in too many establishments these days. I opted for the three course early bird menu, my partner, the A La carte. The Early Bird, was brill value for money, and the restaurant menu also offered a wide range of choices,Steak was the offer of the day, served with 'very peppery' sauce!. What would I have again... The sticky Chocolate pudding, delicious! I will most definately go again and recommend to my friends.
The Monro – Liverpool City Centre2 courses plus a piece of home-made dessert, £12.50. Available until 6.30pm Wednesday and Thursday and until 5.30pm Fridays (excludes Bank Holidays).
