The Monro – Liverpool City CentreMany thanks to all of the Monro staff who made our evening. Food was exceptional, wine the best I've tasted for a while and we loved the informal atmosphere. Thanks again, tilly xx
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreThe Monro is great restaurant with excellent service. Very friendly staff that couldn't do enough. The food was excellent and looked really good on the plate. Don't hesitate to book the Monro if you're looking for a venue for a date or group function. Superb!
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreThe best authentic Indian restaurant in Liverpool. if anyone looking for an authentic food experience must try maharaja. It was a new experience for me and my friends. Definitely recommend maharaja.
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreI've been here a few times and always enjoyed my meal. They do lovely chicken wing or spare rib starters, the capital sauce is delicious!
China City – Liverpool City Centrefirst time and very impressed!! food fab, service lovely made you feel very welcome. Toilets are spotless especially the ladies. would highly recommend this restaurant its a must!!
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreThanks For a superb meal we'll see ya Friday Andy & Liz
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City Centreit was a fabulous wedding reception venue for my daughter and new son in law, it was chilled but special, the entertainment was really enjoyed by young and old alike.
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreHaving visited Bistro Pierre in Button Street on a number of occasions it was only a matter of time before I ate at the sister restaurant. Parking was so so easy, parking bays outside of the restaurant - unheard of in Liverpool these days. The decor was fresh, dark reds, cream and oak table & chairs. It was only mid afternoon so we managed to get a window seat. The service was just as good as Bistro Pierre, one or two new faces on the payroll but the staff who remembered us made a fuss. As always the food is great and priced fairly in today? competitive market. Its ideally placed for the Philharmonic and Students who are based in that area of town have a night of their own (Tuesdays I think). I loved Bistro Pierre but I suspect some regulars (those that are more mobile than others & wouldn? quibble at getting to the top of Hardman street) may change their allegiance. Keep up the good work Mark & Steven and my wife and I will be long term customers.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreFantastic restaurant. could not complain about the food at all. if i was to complain about something it would be there is to much choice. portions are huge, i wouldn't bother with starter. i recommend if you are going in the evening to book as it is a small restaurant and will i was there it could of been filled 3 times over. when ordering do this by number as staff speak little English and there is so much to choice from it makes it a lot easier this way. hope you enjoy it as much as i did
Tokyou – Liverpool City CentreOn mon our party of 11 were booked in for our graduation meal. when we arrived we went straight to the bar for cocktails and aperitifs, the "graduates" were offered a cocktail each and the service was friendly and chatty, then we were taken up in the restaurant for our meal. the set menu was lovely, it had something for everyone, the only flaw i can think of was that the meals didn't come with many vegetables so we had to get a few side dishes but they were hardly touched as the meal was very filling! at the end of the meal staff bought a graduation cake over to the table too! this bar/restaurant is amazing, it is somewhere to bring your mates, parents and grandparents, everyone will be blown away by its beauty!
Alma De Cuba – Liverpool City CentreEveryone i mention this place to looks at me and thinks oh no!!! but me and my girlfriend went there for a romantic meal and it was really lovely, wine was good, food was good, everything was good!! It is quite open planned (no booths) and it is on a corner where EVERYONE looks in at you eating but hey you can see that when you walk in! Its a very nice place I will go there again!! Just thought i would boost this restaurants ratings since it totally deserves it!!
Bella Italia – Liverpool City CentreThe Parisian jewel of Liverpool. This place has it all. Ambience that rivals the quaintest west London bistros and a superb reasonably priced menu. It can be addictive! The menu changes frequently with a 5.95 3 course lunch rapide, to a Wednesday night special offer with free bottle of wine, which can often lead to a hangover
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreCan? wait to visit the Tai Pan again. The service and the food is the best money can buy.
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreExtremely good food at a reasonable price for the quality you receive. A very, elegant place with lovely staff. This place is a credit to Liverpool.
Ziba Restaurant and Bar – Liverpool City CentreWent to La Tasca on 25/07/2006, got a table straight away as a hot night and everyone was sitting outside, but wasn? to hot inside so was comfortable, and was served straight away with drinks, and was left a short while to chose from the menu, the waitress who served us was a bit stroppy but hey the food definitely made up for it "just delicious" celebrated my 36 birthday with 3 friends and they all said the same most enjoyable evening, lovely food well priced you don? have to break the bank lovely clean restaurant comfortable defo going back SOON
La Tasca – Liverpool City CentreTried many of the Indian restaurants in Liverpool and this one is by far the best! I have never been disappointed in any way, even when I have been worse for the wear! Great service and great food, a class act!!
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreI agree with the people who say the chairs are too low but you soon forget about that once you have been sat down for a while. We did comment that we were thinking about asking for a cushion when we got in! Aside from the height of the chairs, this is a fabulous place to spend an evening. We arrived half an hour early and went through to the bar for a drink and a waitress came to find us and told us she would be over to get us when our table was ready. The building itself is beautiful, especially the alter inside. People have commented on it being 'dark' but I would not go that far, it is dimly lit but this adds to the relaxed ambience in my opinion. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding, I did not come across one snotty, impolite member of staff, they were all very friendly and helpful, even helping us with our food choices. The wine list is impressive and I did not think it was too over priced for the standard of the wine. The menu has something for everyone with some very interesting selections on there, but I went for a boring but excellent choice - the Argentinean Fillet of Beef which came with huge home made potato wedges and mushrooms and tomato. I would highly recommend this dish. I would have gone for the Chateaubriand as this is the best cut of the fillet but unfortunately this was a dish which had to be shared and my companion was a vegetarian - ah well! We stayed in the bar all night after our meal and it is that kind of place - somewhere you would go for an evening. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, relaxed evening. Can't wait to go back!!
