What can I say? My whole family LOVE Kimo's my three little boys all under 8 prefer to go to Kimos's than McDonalds, now that has to be good. The food is gorgeous and Ive tried most things on the menu! I love the new building, I was concerned with the move they may change the menu or the prices but both have thankfully stayed the same. Great food, great price friendly staff, why go anywhere else !

What would i do without Kimo's! Excellent quality food at such reasonable prices. Really good size portions and a brilliant selection of food from over the globe. The staff are warm and friendly and tend to remember people when they go back. Would definitely recommend Kimos to anyone!

My all-time favourite veggie/vegan cafe. Great selection of cheap & delicious food including yummy vegan puds.... Totally chilled out by day - u can go in on your own, read a book or paper while u eat lunch and feel completely at ease... by night the candles come out & the atmosphere is fab! I've had every birthday & other significant celebration there for years the food appeals to everyone even the carnivores among my mates, & the byo wine keeps it amazingly cheap! 10/10

This restaurant is a little gem! Cosy interior in a good location with friendly, welcoming but non intrusive staff. The Side Door has a lovely warm ambience and the food was delicious. We chose the Theatre Menu which was £16.95 for 3 courses. Quite limited choice of only 3 starters, 3main courses and 3 desserts but that is reflected in the price. The general menu had a lot more choice with main courses about £14+. Good choice of wine. All the customers seemed really pleased to have chosen this restaurant but several couples were turned away as it was full, so definitely best to book in advance. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will certainly be going back on a regular basis.

Ive been here a couple of times now, and haven? had a bad meal once. The food is fab and very good choice, i would recommend the fillet steak here, it is the best ive had in Liverpool yet. Atmosphere good and restaurant always busy which is always a good sign

This restaurant may be too expensive for most to visit often, however, as a special treat it is absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, with just the right amount of flavour combinations, and the service was incredibly attentive without being too pushy. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again, probably as part of a larger group as I would not hesitate to recommend it!

My favourite Indian restaurant in Liverpool. Great food really tasty, very attentive friendly staff and reasonably priced. Generally quiet, but its a nice clean restaurant where you can have a bit of privacy when eating as they have alcoved booths to sit at too.

I have been to the Chung Ku on several occasions, notably for my 40th birthday and my daughters 21st and have only ever encountered a couple of minor problems ( wrong food served and slow service when busy)however, i still rate it as the best chinese restaurant in liverpool or the north west.

At first thoughts I thought the restaurant itself was really nice although I? not really a fan of the open atmosphere it had, as I like a bit of privacy when eating out. However the food was really nice, service was good and efficient, and the prices are reasonable.

Sapporo is such a special restaurant which u can't find it anywhere in Liverpool. it might be the reason they become so successful. Although the food in there is not so Japanese, especially on the Teppan-Yaki side. Most of the dishes are with the same based marinate. However, don't get me wrong, it tastes real good. At the bistro bar, they have a good range of liquor and sushi menu is very good. Fish are fresh, and the special Sapporo sushi is well worth the price. The ambience is good, but I would like it to be quieter, may be it is because we went there on Saturday. I have to say it is not the most romantic venue in Liverpool but for partying, I m sure u will have a fab time. The wine is reasonable, but the list not impressive. Generally, Sapporo is a westernised Japanese Restaurant with excellent staffs and ambient, suitable for European? taste bud.

This is in fact my second review. Earlier I'd complained about the coconut chutney with the Dosa. This time I told them beforehand and they came up trumps and had just the right consistency of coconut chutney with their dosa. Also gave me the extra helping of Samber! Recently in London, I ate at the Chennai Dosa, a chain in London. To be honest, I thought the Sambar of Maharaja was far superior to that served at Chennai Dosa. So Full marks on Samber chaps! Three slight niggles still - just to prove no bias - Chennai Dosa served the green and red chutney which is traditional with dosa's. But for some reason Maharaja did not do this. Also in the potato masala mix I believe it is traditional to put mustard seeds which were missing. Those three niggles aside, I think the Maharaja Dosa is very nice and overall better than that at the Chennai Dosa which also gets good comments. To be even-handed, I should add that Chennai Dosa only charge £2.40 for a masala dosa, while Maharaja charge like £6.50, but I think the Maharaja one is well worth it. So overall I'd give it a 7 to 8 out of 10, if they got the red/green chutney sorted, and the mustard seeds in the masala then I'd have given a 10/10. If you haven't yet tried a Dosa, then you must visit this place, you will not be disappointed.

I've been a regular to Villa Romana for many years and can't recommend it enough. It's not as fancy as some of the other Italian restaurants in Liverpool but the food is authentic, it's relatively cheap and it has a great atmosphere. I once saw Andrea Corr in there!!

We go here on a regular basis, can't speak highly enough of the place... We've tried most of the Indian restaurants in Liverpool City Centre & without doubt this is the best one. The chef is excellent, the service is excellent, the price is right (& even better if you can get your hands on an NUS card). The regular custom comments speak volumes - what more needs to be said - get down there & order yourself a chicken makhonwalla!

Breakfast for under £4.00 with tea or coffee. Open until 11pm at night. Very fast service for fully home cooked food. Arab style food not normally available in Lpool, suitable for vegi's. Restaurant very popular with students and suitable a quickcheap bight before the cinema. NOTE: Kimos moved to new premises nextdoor (on Mount Pleasant) in Dec 2006.
