I recently dinned at Blundell Street and would fully recommend the restaurant, the food, the atmosphere, the music and the staff, (especially Paula) all contributed to an enjoyable evening.

Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreAfter being spoiled by top London Indian restaurants, such as Bombay Brasserie and Portes des Indes, i was pleasantly surprised to find the Maharajah in Liverpool's London road! The decor needs a little sprucing, but, that aside-excellent! My wife, who is picky about Asian food-loved a different regional taste and the rest of the family loved it. The only place I know anywhere that serves COBRA by the pint-draught! brilliant food ,lovely service- nothing too much trouble for them-and other Asian people eat there- the best advert!! Try it- you'll love the different regional taste- the fish curry is great!
Maharaja South Indian Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreQuality restaurant quality food, quality service and quality smiles. We really enjoyed our evening after the grand national. All the staff are extremely pleasant. The food was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Savina – Liverpool City CentreI visit the Villa Romana on a regular basis, the food is so delicious. a great mixture to choose from so there is always something for everyone in your party. The waiters are all very friendly. I recommend the peppered steak medallions, melt in your mouth fantastic!!!!
Villa Romana – Liverpool City CentreHave just been to the new Kimos after move next door. Need not have been worried - same outstanding food, service and friendly atmosphere. My most highly recommended place to eat in Liverpool. Food is far higher quality than most. Excellent value to boot. The mixed Kebab is to die for. Cannot wait to go back. Well done Kimos. Dont change anything. Phill
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreGreat food, always let down though by poor service. Last visit took an age to get served, then to get drinks and waiters seem far more intent on butting into your conversations or talking to visiting Footballers than taking your order!!! Still worth a visit though, as the Food really is outstanding, and excellent value.
The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreHad a great night out, very romantic setting, great service, great food and wine. Would like to go back as soon possible.
La Vina – Liverpool City CentreThe best chinese restaurant i have been to the food is excellent the service is also excellent would recommend the tai pan to anybody
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreMe and My girlfriend visited here recently and thought the food and overall experience was really good, Hence why we are going back tonight, The food is tasty gets your buds going as soon as you walk in, service was prompt and we never waited too long even tho the last time we went it was really busy, great standard all the way through, Would recommend it too n e one,
Bella Italia – Liverpool City Centrethe uni is the best place to go after a good nite out in Liverpool, Kieren is very easy on the eye too.....
Uni Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreService here knocks the socks of other places as does the food. I had Coconut Cous cous with bacon & leek and it blew my head away. Side salad was well dressed in a superb quality olive where other restaurants tend to skip. Main course was perfect which was a Jamaican oven roasted Red Snapper with an avocado dressing. It was cooked perfectly while my wife feasted on venison with orange zest and chick pea. I am definitely returning and I suppose that is the highest recommendation anyone can give any place.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreThe interior design of Chung Ku is certainly eye pleasing, with its ship's bow its main focal point. The Chung Ku is most certainly an attractive restaurant to visit and has a unique interior design to enjoy whilst dining. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was lively with many birthday groups in celebration. Space is at a premium and we were seated at a close proximity to fellow diners, not an ideal seating plan for diners who may want to enjoy a quiet evening meal. The food in most parts was good but fell short of being excellent. The char sui in our fried dishes differed in quality to my main meat dish which I have to say was very tasty and tasted as if was freshly roasted on our date of dining. My boyfriend was slightly disappointed after hearing rave reviews from friends and has vowed to only dine at our usual haunts which are the Shanghai Palace and the Tai Pan in the future. The most pleasing aspect from our visit was the at tentative service from the waitresses. Undoubtedly, the Chung Ku provides the ideal service for its customers, we were never rushed, treated with respect and genuine warmth from the staff. If there was ever a North West league table for service alone then Chung Ku would be its leader by a long stretch. Food wise I am willing to give the Chung Ku another opportunity to live up to its reputation for its excellence in Chinese cuisine. So prove my boyfriend wrong and deliver the food I know Chung Ku is capable of!
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreJust been there this afternoon after reading the recommendations on this site. Beautiful and healthy food, great service and student-friendly prices. Went with a Cantonese friend who loved it too, can't get better recommendation than that.
Tokyou – Liverpool City CentreWe have visited the St John Restaurant many times and the food is always excellent, staff are always courteous and it is a great base to explore attractions around Liverpool. Highly recommended and well done for offering a free wifi connection.
St John Restaurant at the Sir Thomas Hotel – Liverpool City CentreVery good food and a nice atmosphere would recommend anyone to go there.
Kimos – Liverpool City CentreA delightfully smoke free restaurant, not very big so book if you can, the food is excellent and original and the service friendly. If the white chocolate cheesecake, the lemon drizzle cake and the creme brulee with berries are on the menu, bad luck, I would have to have all three.
Puschka – Liverpool City CentreI have recently become a regular visitor to Liverpool. I've tried quite a few places in the town centre but have on many occasions opted to return here. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with food to rival London's Brick Lane (very hard to do!!). I would highly recommend anyone pay a visit, especially if you know what you like.
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreGreat food, service, ambience & price. A must for tapas / Mediterranean food lovers. The house red rioja had quality well above standard house wines.
La Vina – Liverpool City Centre2 courses plus a piece of home-made dessert, £12.50. Available until 6.30pm Wednesday and Thursday and until 5.30pm Fridays (excludes Bank Holidays).
