Been twice and good food on both occasions and about average in price in this day and age. Would definately go again.

A Passage To India – Liverpool City CentreZiba - what can I say. We arrived Saturday evening after 8.30pm to a lovely welcome. We had not booked to eat but my hubby when asked "would we like to dine" immediately said if you have a table for 2 that would be nice. The food was fresh, hot, tastey and plenty. The service, fantastic. From my lovely "egg and chips man" the comment "we will come here again" was a very good sign!
Ziba Restaurant and Bar – Liverpool City CentreTry the non-vegetarian banquet for 2. The food and service is excellent. This is the best Indian restaurant around!!
Master Chef Tandoori Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreWorth a visit. What an experience. Do try for yourself.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreVery nice, entertaining restaurant. would definately re visit
Sapporo Teppanyaki Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreI have been to this restaurant 20 times or so since it opened. I have taken my mum and dad twicwe. Not any more. Whilst the food and service is great the place has been colonised by noisey loud scallies and gangsters. When i go out for a meal i do not expext to sit with scalls who have come in there trackies. Its a shame but they should have a behaviour and dress policy. I wont go again
Chung Ku – Liverpool City CentreFantastic restaurant - perfectly cooked scallops - to die for lamb and don't miss the puddings!
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreDecent food, probably the best spare ribs in the world. Friendly atmosphere and, unusually, a terrific wine list. What more do you need from a Chinese restaurant.
Yuet Ben – Liverpool City CentreThought this place was really good at first sight. However when the food arrived wasnt too pleased. My Garlic Chicken was cold and the garlic was burnt leaving a fairly bitter taste. However the mushroom pillau was nice.
Indian Delight – Liverpool City CentreA great addition to the Liverpool restaurant scene- Fantastic food, and the staff were great. Have been waiting for a restaurant like this in Liverpool for years
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreFab, fab, fab! We went for a leaving do and without asking they put us in their new suite which was a wonderful and thoughtful touch There was no problem with choice, quality or service and the great food was complimented with lashings of quality wine which we got cheaper by ordering ahead. I think "they've got there!" and we're definately going back.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreThis is an excellent restaurant - but they need to get the service sorted out. We went for lunch today, arriving at 10 to 2, knowing we had to be away for 3.45pm. We ordered the dessert at 3.25, but by 3.45 it still hadn't arrived - so had to leave it. If we hadn't had such a long wait for two cold starters... However, the restaurant is excellent and the food superb - I hope they will sort the service out,
The London Carriage Works – Liverpool City CentreThe food was brilliantly arranged and tasted great. Our meals came quickly and tasted fantastic. The staff were efficient and helpful.
Modo – Liverpool City CentreThe best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.
Dr Duncans – Liverpool City CentreA wonderful experience - Very relaxed with lovely decor. There's a comfortable but trendy bar to meet in before/after dining. Food delicious and Service great - would definitely go back
Ziba Restaurant and Bar – Liverpool City CentreIts getting there! The quality of the food is very good indeed - but they run out very quickly. With the numbers they are now getting, there's no reason why they shouldn't have everything available on the short menu.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreVery disappointed to find only a limited menu on the night we visited the Munro - unlike other reports. The menu is little different from a standard pub chain menu. However the cooking was competent and meals prepared promptly with attentive service.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreI visited Est Est Est for the first time recently - I can't believe what I've been missing out on!! It is a informal, highly atmospheric restaurant with friendly staff and very nice food. Be prepared to wait for your table though I visited firstly on a Saturday and secondly on a Tuesday - each time I was qouted an hour wait for a table (though in reality it was only 35-40 minutes) On both occasions, it was packed to the rafters - so they must be doing something right!!
Gusto – Liverpool City Centre2 courses plus a piece of home-made dessert, £12.50. Available until 6.30pm Wednesday and Thursday and until 5.30pm Fridays (excludes Bank Holidays).
