Myself and my Mum took my two daughters here for something to eat after seeing a show at the Empire. The staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The aesthetic of the place was great, our girls really enjoyed the gaming stations which helped to keep them entertained whilst we ate. Very quick service, great food and drinks, excellent prices. Will definitely go again!
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreVery good service, helpful and polite.food very nice could have done with a bit more veg.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreWe did have a problem with one of the meals, but this was resolved quickly by the staff and subsequently both meals were very good. As a gesture of goodwill our bill was also adjusted. I would return to clockwork as although quite quiet when we went, it still had a good atmosphere in quirky surroundings and the staff were excellent.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreWe enjoyed dinner here so much we returned for breakfast the food quality and service was that good. Spotlessly clean, walls adorned with musical heros to a retro hippy soundtrack. Would heartily recommend the pork belly and the miner's breakfast. Extensive menus, great value for money and super friendly staff. What's not to like.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreTook my daughter who is 11yrs there for tea last night, not only did she LOVE the retro gaming, but the food was awesome too! I’m gluten free and don’t get excited about pizza as it’s usually pants, but here, it was really really good!! The staff were approachable, chilled and super friendly, nothing was too much a bother for them! They even insisted on giving me free fries as the gluten free pizza is smaller than the regular pizzas. My daughter wants to visit Liverpool again, just to visit Doughbar :)
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreFabulous food, good prices, great friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentrePre-booked for pizza and drinks before heading to the theatre. Late change request made to time of booking (as theatre now giving an entry time) thankfully accommodated for us to eat a bit earlier. Pizzas are light (thin and crisp) freshly made and delicious. 3 pizzas, 2 bottles of Sauvignon blanc, 2 delicious chocolate fudge cakes with cream and a couple of g&t’s all served with a smile for less than £70- great start to our evening.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreAmazing meal. The service is 5* everyone is so nice and are constantly checking if you need anything and if everything is ok. The portion size is spot on, I couldn’t finish my main! The chicken wings melt, the ribs are incredible and the duck was so tender! Wish we had space for dessert!
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreA great setting, with incredible, accessible and skilled staff. The food was excellent, and our whole party raved about our night at Clockworks, highly recommended.
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreWe’ll be back. Visited for the first time before heading to the theatre. As soon as we arrived, the gentleman who greeted us asked if we were going to the theatre or we’d already been. We said we were on our way there and he said to mention it when ordering then they could let the chef know and they could get our food out quickly. Pizzas were amazing - lots of unusual choices as well as the more traditional ones - and very reasonable. The cocktails (and mocktails) drinks were great and also very reasonable. A nice and informal setting with booths, benches, games consoles and the like. Well worth a visit.
