Lovely food, drinks, setting and service. Really good value for money. A hidden little gem.
Roberto’s Italian – SouthportVisited Dough bar for food following an early performance at the theatre. Booking was really simple and I received confirmation. On arrival we were greeted by a member of staff, it wasn’t full yet so we could sit anywhere. All the staff were friendly and really helpful and I was delighted that they could provide gluten free options too. The food was really lovely. The only criticism would be that the table we sat at wasn’t very clean and some of the cutlery was questionable!
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreMet a friend for dinner here and it was a very welcoming and relaxing evening with delicious food, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. What more could you want. We will definitely return for more delicious food very soon.
Souvla Allerton – Mossley HillLovely meal, for my son's birthday. The service is excellent, the food is great and it's very good value for money.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthAbsolutely fantastic place and brilliant Value for money
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthOpa Opa is the best Greek restaurant in Liverpool and one best restaurants in town full-stop. The food is amazing, the owner is very hospitable, and I have always had a great time here as I have my friends and family.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreVisited for the first time with a group of cat loving friends. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon lounging on the sofas with Jensen sleeping above us. At first we didn't have a lot of feline company but when our coffee and cake arrived cats appeared from every direction. Such fun trying to eat cake with cats trying to swipe it off you. We needed the cake covers. Jensen finally woke up as we were getting ready to leave and happily laid himself out on the back of my friend's neck. A very happy afternoon and the cats are well cared for and very happy. I am now looking for other cat friends to bring but really an excuse to come back. The staff were brilliant too
Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeVisited this lovely cat cafe on a Saturday afternoon. Had cake and coffee. (Vegan options available which was great for me). All staff/volunteers where very nice and answered any questions we had about the cats. So nice to see places like this and it's clear that a lot of hard work is going on to help cats and also to provide a lovely social space for animal lovers. Will definitely visit again.
Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeHad a lovely family meal. Great value and lovely food. Staff were really friendly and the kids were made to feel welcome. Will return for a meal and drinks with friends.
Souvla Allerton – Mossley HillLovely place, we were just unfortunate to have a lady that kept coming up and down the aisle waving a ball on a stick at the cats anytime the cats came near us. It meant the cats each time they came near ran off. Not the fault of the cat cafe staff at all just unfortunate for us. Food and drinks were the best I have had in any cafe we have visited. Love the idea of the cat cafe and happy to support the cause. We will definitely return and hope we get to fuss the cats next time.
Jacksons Rescue Cat Cafe – HoylakeAmazing lunch yesterday with my husband - we've lived in Liverpool for many years and have been meaning to visit. Moving to just down the road very soon so look forward to making it a regular thing. Thanks so much! Was perfect
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthWe visited on Saturday evening, we selected 6 dishes between the two of us, this is probably about the right number. My wife got chatting to we think it was the owner, and mentioned it was our wedding anniversary, she gave us a free dessert and a glass of prosecco each......what superb service. All the staff we chatted to were very helpful, the food was really nice, we will be back.
Harringtons Bar & Eatery – PrescotWe had the Meze here last night and the food was excellent, with very attentive and pleasant service by all the staff. Highly recommended!
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthWe booked for an early evening meal before going to the Philharmonic which could not have been handier! Restaurant, staff, food and value all terrific and huge portions.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreGreat time at the Cat Cafe this morning. If you like cats but can’t keep one of your own this is a must. Whether you want to play with cats or just chill out sitting next to one watching it sleeping. Cafe is well laid out, well organised and the humans well supervised by the cats. 15 cats all super friendly not a claw in sight. Also good coffee and cake. What’s not to like.
