The Dean – St.HelensHave visited the Cookhouse a number of times since it opened and have not had any problems before. Went for lunch on Sunday 16/09/19 with my wife, two grandchildren, and a friend. My friend ordered gammon which was (in his words 'very chewy') On the positive side the staff apologised and exchanged it for steak which he enjoyed. Secondly we have never had problems with the children's meals before but somehow the chef now seems to think he is in a chippy as the chips came with a heavy dose of salt (or seasoning as the helpful waitress informed us) so much that my youngest did not wish to eat his. We were informed that we could ask for the seasoning to be omitted but why cover the chips in salt in the first place especially on a child's meal? Apart from excessive salt being unhealthy there are condiments on the table for those who wish to season their chips. My grandchildren also had problems in the play area as one older child took to throwing stones - a member of staff did go and speak to him but his behaviour and lack of parental supervision spoilt the visit for them also. Again, on the positive side, the staff were sympathetic and offered to give them some free ice cream. Now having to give some thought as to whether it will be worth visiting again.
CookHouse Pub & Carvery – WooltonIt was are first time here we loved it would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Brunos Rodizio – St. HelensSecond visit. Fantastic dining experience. Even better than last time with the new menu. The ambience, staff and food make this a top class restaurant. The food was tasty and imaginative. The staff know the wine list really well and make tailored recommendations. They are friendly, relaxed but professional and efficient. The piano player and singer Melissa really enhanced the whole experience.
The Dean – St.HelensMy husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and breakfast in the Brasserie . The meals were cooked to perfection and presented well. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely stay for more than one night next time we visit Liverpool.
R Bar & Brasserie at The Richmond – Liverpool City CentreI visited The Dean for Sunday lunch and a catch up with a friend visiting the area. We loved every second of our visit. I’m a bit of a margarita expert having sampled many! The one at the Dean was excellent just the ride blend of sharp and sweet. The food was amazing as was the friendly, attentive staff. The actual restaurant is beautiful, lots of care and attention to detail and it shows! Amazing that a place of this quality is on our doorstep. I will definitely be back. My husband is going to be tempted by the fantastic Whisky cupboard!
The Dean – St.HelensAn amazing bowl of chicken Kimchi. Hot, hot and filling. Good helpful service and good value.
Dong – Liverpool City CentreGreat value for money. Lovely staff
R Bar & Brasserie at The Richmond – Liverpool City CentreWe visited Saturday 7/9/19 a party of 10 people for a work colleagues 60th birthday. I had paid a £25 deposit to reserve a table as we had all chosen to eat here. I was very disappointed with my meal of Pasta Penne with additional chicken The 4 cheese sauce it was advertised as was like runny milk and tasteless lots of Button mushrooms added approximately 4 small slices of chicken and pasta that looked like it was added to the plate Ate 2 mouthfuls of this bitterly disappointing and tasteless!! Worst pasta meal ever! 3 of our party chose black pudding starters said tough as anything unable to cut into this Not fresh whatsoever possibly reheated? Overall the fish and chips looked the best and 3 people really enjoyed theirs Thank goodness.

Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonI was so impressed with the food and service from the Dean... The food was amazing and the staff couldn't be more helpful... I've been telling everyone about it and can't wait to go back.
The Dean – St.HelensThe good was lovely & the service was very good I was however very disappointed with my bill! I asked if I could set up a tab for myself as I had paid the deposit of £25 because we were a party of 35 & everyone was paying for their own families. When I came to pay other people had also thought they had a tab & then it became difficult to sort the bill out. Catherine ( I think that was her name ) was very helpful but it was difficult to sort out. I ended up being the loser as i paid more than my fair share. We are planning on making it a regular neet up & would like confirmation that i will not end up oug of pocket again. thanks
