Grantham Road Chippy – SouthportI went here with my boyfriend on Friday night, the food was good but not great, the tapas was expensive for the size but the meat was good. The thing that shocked us was the bread situation; massive pot of homous, tiny bit of bread, really disappointed! That's besides the point - its Sunday night and that was the last meal I ate because I have felt terrible ever since! Just back from the doctors - food poisoning! Swerve.
Kasbah Cafe & Bazaar – Liverpool City CentreAccess to the restaurant was down a few stairs . Décor in need of attention. Staff exceptionally friendly attention to customers needs was excellent. The food selection was very varied couldn’t decide what to choose, ended up playing it safe and went for what I new and was not disappointed it was fab and enough for the heartiest appetite . Will certainly go back again.
Asiana – West DerbyI have a Chinese friend and we go there all the time the food is excellent and we also go in the supermarket shopping food really cheap
Tai Pan Restaurant – Liverpool City CentreMy partner and I went this evening to the east orient buffet in St Helens. There wasn’t a decent selection of dishes, just the basics you would expect to find in any poor quality buffet. The PLASTIC plates were GREASY, it was proper disgusting, and ridiculously small and cold.In the restaurant it was incredibly hot, and the air con was off. There were flies flying all over our heads and food, it was really, really nasty. And the same songs played every 5 minutes. We had only heard and read bad reviews about this restaurant but we like to judge for ourselves so we decided to try it out.We will NEVER EVER go back and we don’t recommend it to any one. We had 2 weekend dinner buffet (although it was Friday) and a bottle of rose. We paid £27.95.You get what you pay for. Oh we had to pay for tap water, so in the end we cancelled it.The decoration was comfortable, but nothing spectacular. The food quality was average in my opinion, but my partner says above average. the meat was mostly dried, we had to constantly for the dishes to be brought out. The desserts were pretty standard and the service was beyond poor, they could benefit from some training. We felt ignored and were left unattended throughout all our dinner experience. If you are thinking of going there, just DON’T. Don’t waste your money, it’s not worth it. If you plan to go to any buffet in St Helens, make it to the The Chinese Buffet, as it is simply the best in merseyside.Resuming- very poor dining experience, average food, pfff, disappointing, a waste of money and time. Just don’t go.
East Orient Buffet Restaurant – St.HelensWe visited The Arion for lunch and sat in the conservatory in a very calming atmosphere. We ordered a gammon meal off the 'special' board. The portions were more than ample and the food was excellent! The staff (Greg who brought the meals and a young lady who brought my coffee to the table) were a credit to the pub. The decor in the pub is very calming and the whole pub is spotlessly clean. Well worth a visit!!
Arion At Ainsdale – SouthportReally enjoyed my visits to this place. Wrote a comprehensive review on my blog: www.coffeefilteruk.wordpress.comHeard mixed reviews in the past but I've only had good coffee and service here.
Green Cauldron Coffee House – Liverpool City Centreexcellent has to be one of the best indian restaurants in liverpool, and great value for money!
Spice Brasserie – Mossley HillWe were there on Saturday night and everything was absolutely great. We almost tried everything from the menu between 6 people. Plates were presentable, the meals were delicious and staff were very lovely My husband who had a birthday, was served a surprise birthday cupcake from house and it was a very genuine surprise. Thank you Antalya Restaurant,
Antalya – Mossley HillMy wife&myself had an excellent meal the food was to die for and the service was second to none
Antalya – Mossley HillMy friends arranged a surprise birthday party for me at this lovely restaurant. We were served delicious well cooked food by lovely staff. They even brought me a cake and sang happy birthday. The place was a little busy but we were served quickly and weren't rushed. We stayed till close drinking the night away, good times!
Antalya – Mossley HillJust had a lovely meal. Nice large spacious room with no squeezing past other eaters. Friendly staff. Good portions. Well recommended for a nice comfortable time with no hassle
Antalya – Mossley Hilli have eaten here a few times and the food is absolutely gorgeous. It is cooked right in front of you freshly on the barbecue. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the prices are basically in line with the rest in the area. I have been here of a daytime and an evening and have never been rushed, its nice to take your time. The food may take time coming but you know it has not been pre-coooked and is never undercooked. I would totally recommend this place without a doubt, but i would recommend that you make your own mind up and try it.
Antalya – Mossley HillThis place is an absolute joke! Very bad atmosphere, raw undercooked food, Vegetables on the plates stinks like the toilet sink, very very bad presentation, very very bad management and the worst server ever. He actually argued with us about our problems while dining there and when we complaint about one of the staff member killing a huge spider with a cloth napkin, he said 'its just a spider innit' VERY VERY Dirty bathrooms equals dirty kitchen, confusing decor, very old dated, servers who obviously don't want to be there and Manager who doesn't know what to do or sat when issues arrive waitress reason she got seated a large party, that is why in an hour she dropped off our food and never came back except to see if we were done and wanted desert. TAKE MY WORD, STAY AWAY!
Antalya – Mossley HillExtremely rude service and overpriced. One of the chefs used the customer toilet while I was there and just soaked his hand with water and didn't use any hand wash. I was shocked. There is absolutely great places in and around the Mossley Hill that worth looking at. I've never been in a place where no one looks happy and they all looking at you like they hate you. Don't waste your hard earned money in this place. Kind Regards
Antalya – Mossley HillEven though the food was ""ok"", this was the most expensive meal we had, and we felt that it was well overpriced with not much atmosphere inside. And the owner was treating the waitress girl with no respect what so ever, it was very disturbing to watch . And then he came around to ask if everything was ok, we were gonna be sick of his bio smell. I don't think that man had shower since he was born.
Antalya – Mossley HillThe food was mediocre. The prices were outrageous. The service was sub-par. We waited over an hour for our food. The manager blatantly told us that he needed to check our receipt to make sure we were telling the truth. The hostesses mysteriously "misplaced" the comment cards after asking how our visit was. I am appalled by our treatment. This is by far the worst place I've ever been to,Do not ever go to that place. We waited for about 15 min. They never brought us kids menus or offered us drinks.Bad value. There are better places to eat in the area. Overpriced and no atmosphere here. Save your hard earned money and look around. Tip automatically added to bill a bit cheeky to say the least.
Antalya – Mossley HillWe took Janes mum for a meal for her birthday and were treated wonderfully. The atmosphere was relaxed but professional. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this restaurant to any of our friends, family and colleagues and next time we go we will be trying the Mezedes.
